Enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin near DeSoto Falls, Cloudland Canyon, and Rock City. Friendly host and great proximity to beautiful parks. Highly recommend the horseback ride at Shady Grove ranch.
We had a great little weekend get away here! The house was beautiful and perfect for our group. We utilized the hot tub and fire pit. Very thankful for this place and Johnâs quick reply to my messages.
My family (my husband, our 3 kids, my parents, and me) came for 6 days. Every single one of us enjoyed our stay. It was beautiful, quiet, clean, and comfortable. The hot tub, lake, and porch swing beds were well loved features. We began discussing when we could return within the first few days!
Just a few small hiccups in communication and dated fixtures but all in all a great value and very clean. I would rent this again without any hesitation.
This was just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Perfect for a couple or small family. Only challenge was getting to the cabin as the roads had large potholes but once there it was the perfect retreat. Would recommend to friends!
This was such a relaxing stay. The property was great. The hot tub was an added plus. Just no words to explain how relaxing the stay way and the views.
Great cabin, plenty of room for 4 adults, 4 Harleyâs, ate at The Wildflower Friday night, wonderful place and great service! Saturday we took off on the Harleyâs explored many areas arrived back to cabin late that evening relaxed in the hot tub! Great weekend getawayâ€ïž
Everything was wonderful! Cute cabin next to a pretty pond fully stocked with fish, a hot tub, and a nice fire pit to enjoy. The owner is very kind and helpful
This cabin is clean, charming, and perfect for a small group! The area is laid back but there are plenty of things to do. The owner gives great recommendations and provides lots of essentials at the cabin. This is my second time staying here, and Iâd gladly come again! Great communication without being overbearing. 10/10
My father, Thomas Milham, fell in love with Mentone when he discovered the area in 2003. He grew up in Fairhope, Alabama among a family of avid sailors who owned two separate restaurants there. Being familiar with hospitality, he purchased 11 acres and over the next 8 years built 3 cabins and a 3-acre lake for visitors to come comfortably experience the natural beauty of Lookout Mountain. Sadly, he passed away in December of 2019. We often receive messages from the many regular guests who remember the one and only "Mr. Tommy" fondly.
My dad chose to purchase real estate in this beautiful mountainous area as an investment for his children and grandchildren. This property fulfilled his dreams and brought much happiness to him, our family, and the many guests who have visited over the years.
