Canyon Falls Cottage, adjacent et location de compagnon à "The Cliff House" (se référer à la liste VRBO # 1213591) est sur un domaine de bord de canyon surplombant Desoto Falls à Little River sur Lookout Mountain à Mentone en Alabama. Il est possible de sécuriser la location des deux cabines simultanément. Le chalet est accessible aux personnes handicapées.
Il est entouré de lauriers des montagnes et de rhododendrons vieux de 80 ans.
Le premier étage est accessible aux personnes handicapées / en fauteuil roulant avec un parking pour personnes handicapées et un espace de stationnement traditionnel, une rampe menant au porche grillagé, une cuisine accessible aux personnes en fauteuil roulant et une salle de bains avec douche pour handicapés. Le chalet fait face aux bois. Desoto Falls peut être vu depuis le domaine, et le parc d'État au-dessus des chutes est à trois minutes à pied.
Il y a deux chambres avec salles de bain privées, une cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle, laveuse et sécheuse, grande salle au plafond cathédrale avec poêle à bois, TV grand écran et WiFi.

Very Enjoyable

I was very happy to find a place that would accommodate my elderly disabled Dad. The beds were nice and low to the floor and the walk in shower was easy for him to access. There was plenty of space for him to walk around with his rollator. The kitchen was ample. The reclining chairs in the living area were nice. Everything was great. The only thing that I can say negative is that I didnt find the little couch to be very comfortable, but other than that we had an amazing stay. The host wven made sure we had a charcoal grill to grill on since the gas grill wasnt working, he made sure we knew oflocal eateries to try and how to work the T.V. remote.

Cozy and comfortable cottage!

We loved our time at the cottage! It was perfect for relaxing and great location for all the things we did over the holiday weekend. Highly recommend staying here - we will be back!

Magical!

This cottage has a magical feel about it with the cool architecture and the surroundings. This is a return visit for us and as always, was spotless. Our hosts were great! The house had everything we needed.

Perfect, peaceful getaway

My in-laws and aunt/uncle stayed at this property, and we stayed at the main house. The home was clean, updated, accommodating, beautiful, and the perfect place for their stay. Would definitely recommend!

Peaceful Retreat

The cottage was in a good location and the house itself was clean. The community is unique with many places to visit. I would rent this house again. The owner was available for questions and took pride in his property.

This cabin was absolutely AMAZING! It was cute and cozy and perfect for me and my two girls. Balpha was a wonderful host, coming by to make sure we had everything we needed and to show us how to work the tv. I would most definitely rent again!

Best relax cabin in alabama

The property puts you in state of relaxation the min you turn in the driveway. I mean from the sound of the waterfall to the birds chirping and the the clean fresh air. The host and the cabin has a home feeling that takes all the stress away.

Perfect for our needs

This cabin was great - just the right size for two couples to spend a weekend in Mentone. The woods made it feel nice and secluded, and we were just a few minutes away from the trailhead to hike down to see DeSoto Falls. If we go back to Mentone, we'll definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Cabin Trip for Brother's Birthday!

The property is GORGEOUS. You can hear and see the waterfall from the cabin. Everything was clean and well-organized and the host was so incredibly kind upon our arrival.

Overall it was beyond our expectations. Our kids loved it, we loved it and we will definitely come back during summer for a change. This place is a must see for everyone that loves secluded places and amazing nature and views.

Relaxing stay

We had a very nice relaxing time. The screened in porch was amazing! The weather was perfect. The handicap ramp and other amenities were fantastic for my sister who has some disabilities. I highly recommend this cottage especially if you just want to kick back and relax. We are planning to go back. Next time I think we will take more groceries and prepare our meals there.

Perfect relaxation

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin was charming, clean and very cozy. The property manager met us and “showed us the ropes,” which was very helpful. The kitchen is well appointed and an abundance of household supplies were provided. Overall, a fantastic place.

Beautiful Mountain Escape

Our family loved staying at this beautiful and thoughtfully designed cottage near the falls. The cottage was exceptionally clean and the caretaker, Balpha, was so helpful when showing us the property. Five stars all around!!

This property has been in our family since 1945 at which time the owner’s original cabin was built. The owners live in the original cabin. Our goal in developing rentals is to share what we have treasured for years.
There are now two additional rental units with parking on the estate.
“The Cliff House”on the canyon rim faces the basin and falls. “Canyon Falls Cottage” faces the woods with views of the falls and canyon from the property. There is a view of the falls from the upstairs bedroom in winter which is partially obscured in spring and summer.
The two cabins can be rented together or separately.
No matter the season, one is beckoned to return to this property due to the magic of a spiritual experience at this ancient geological treasure.
