The minute you arrive at "Breathless" cozy cabin, relaxation sets in. This cabin offers the most striking 180-degree views of the mountains into Georgia and Tennessee. The beautiful valley below is full of wildflowers, lakes, cows, and horses grazing. Listen for the whistle of the train, watch the soaring eagles and gaze at the starlit skies. Family and pet friendly.

The amazing outdoor covered living space is so relaxing and peaceful. It offers a hot tub, outdoor dining, a gas grill and comfortable oversized Amish rocking chairs that enable you to see the view and not look at the railing. The deck also overlooks incredible boulders with space to roam or enjoy the new solo stove bonfire = low smoke & hot fire with comfortable Adirondack chairs.

Decorated with all the flair and charm of a mountain cabin, with the style of a home you would find in Southern Living! With views and sunsets that will make you never want to leave. 3 bedrooms is just perfect for a family of 6 or friends. The kitchen is well-stocked and has a coffee bar with Keurig and Ninja coffee options.

A wonderful experience!

We have stayed at many cabins and Breathless was the best. Every detail was attended to the beds and bedding were top notch, small details like a fully stocked coffee bar with tea and hot chocolate too. Furnished with a mixture of high end antiques and traditional furniture. The view was incredible and the back porch was so comfortable you could sit back there for hours. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was the perfect cabin for our group with amazing views.

The cabin was super cute and cozy. Very clean and perfect for our group of 6. The back porch sunset views were truly amazing. We loved the rustic feel of the cabin. It is in a convenient location, close to several great hikes and the cute downtown. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

The space and the location are perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin comfortably fit 5 adults, provided all the cookware needed to make food at the cabin, and had a great common area to sit comfortably together. And the outdoor space was incredible, especially around sunset! Less than a 5 minute drive to the town of Mentone, which had cozy shops and dining options. A great place to relax and enjoy quality time with your people!

Unbelievable sunsets in a comfortable cabin

Breathless is a superbly located and equipped cabin with the most incredible westward views which allow for amazing sunsets each evening. The cabin is very comfortable with tons of amenities - hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, telescope, and more. Only a mile from the heart of Mentone, you can easily get out for a bite to eat at one of the quaint restaurants and cafes. Excellent communication from the owner throughout the entire process - would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet and beautiful getaway.

Perfect weekend getaway!

The panoramic views and serenity of the location were just what we needed for a rejuvenating weekend. The cabin was very well equipped with everything that we needed. And it was very centrally located to the state parks where we hiked both days. Mentone is a sleepy little mountain town, so be sure to come stocked with food and drinks as places to purchase these items are limited. We will definitely return to this cabin if our travels take us in that direction.

Breathless Experience

Cabin was awesome. Everything you needed was there. Incredible view from back deck. Sunset was gorgeous and chairs was very comfortable. Would go back for sure. I would recommend this cabin for sure. AWESOME!!!!!!!! WF RTR

Great Getaway Cabin in Mentone

My family had a wonderful, memorable stay at Breathless. The cabin was just as described, spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. We felt at home right away and thoroughly enjoyed the back deck with the hot tub and the Amish chairs. The view from the brow of the mountain was incredible. We even were able to watch fireworks off in the distance. So comfortable and enjoyable in every way. Our host provided clear communication, and check-in and check-out was so easy. We all agreed that we would like to return to Breathless in the fall.

Wonderful Getaway

The cabin decor is absolutely beautiful as well as tastefully done. The deck views are absolutely amazing and breath taking. It's so very quiet and serene day and night. We only used the downstairs but the bed is very comfortable. The coffee bar is very well stocked. The kitchen has all the spices, oils, seasonings you can imagine. Plentiful pots and pans, plates to prepare meals and serve meals. If you tire of eating at the lovely bar outside gazing at the view theres a beautiful dining room inside to enjoy. We've stayed in Mentone before this is by far the best place we've stayed.

So happy with our choice of breathless!

The home was well appointed, very clean, and totally comfortable. even had a fully stocked coffee bar. Mornings were great overlooking the beautiful mountain vistas and comfortable chairs wrapped in comfy blankets. Disappointed most of the amenities like restaurants and gift shops were closed the four days we were there. Most of those open toward the end of the week when we had already left . Fort Payne, which was about 20 minutes away is a beautiful quaint community and we did spend some time there, eating at restaurants, and shopping. Thank you Laura ,will be back!

Jeff & Laura are your hosts/home owners. Jeff has been visiting Mentone since his childhood and introduced it to Laura when they were first married. After enjoying many family reunions and stays at DeSoto Park, they decided to purchase their own cabins and share with others the beauty of Mentone. In addition to Breathless, the Nobles own Beulah, located on the south end of Mentone on a 3 acre spring-fed lake.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

From the minute you drive into the driveway, you will feel a sense of calm. The view is amazing! There are pastures, ponds/lakes to gaze at, along with soaring eagles flying in the sky. The sunsets are incredible. The yard below where the fire pit is has amazing boulders that compliment the scenery. Rain or shine, Breathless is a relaxing destination and a great place to enjoy time with friends and family.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

When you open the front door, the smell of cedar greets you. The furnishings are all new, along with linens and mattresses.
The covered porch is a great place to enjoy morning coffee or a sunset. The brand new hot tub has a multi-colored light option and is a great place to relax. The oversized Amish rockers allow you to enjoy the view and not the railing, along with the outdoor dining table.
The US stove fire pit is one of a kind! Once the fire is going, there is minimal smoke. The Adirondack chairs around the fire pit are very comfortable.
