There are several reasons for my scoring of this property to be so low. The bathroom is not up to par. The exhaust fan is rusted, mold growing on some of the bathroom fixtures, the toaster oven is atrocious, the ice maker doesn’t work, two flashlights in the event of a power outage do not work( our power did go off). All in all for the price charged, I will Never stay in 117B again.

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Villa Capriani and the complex is great! However, we were greatly disappointed with Capri Sun, this unit is tired and not clean. First, after walking 5 minutes barefoot in the unit, the bottom of our feet were black. This prompted us to sweep the floor and we swept up dead bugs and old food. The main bedroom mattress is very soft and you sink into it towards the center, plus the bed-frame squeaks with every movement. The so called ‘2nd’ bedroom is a glorified closet with a bunk bed, there is only about 16” between the bed and the wall, which makes it difficult to maneuver especially someone with a disability. There is no HVAC vent in the room so you have to keep the accordion door open, so no privacy when sleeping. There was no top sheet on the bunk so when we took the sheet out of the closet, it smelled like a dog so we’ll assume it was not washed. The bathtub was dirty along with the bathmat, the ceiling vent is rusty along with the TP holder/stand. The towels looked dirty so we had to wash those before we were comfortable using them. Lastly, the CO detector started beeping low battery at 4am.Overall we were very disappointed with this stay and the condition of the unit.

Comfortable bed and couch was very comfortable as well. Enjoyed having extra fans available. Very clean. However, the condo should not be listed as a two bedroom. The second “bedroom” has no closet so technically a realty company should not list it as a bedroom. The room is extremely small, but if you need it for just a bed a child can sleep in-it will work, but the rental should not be priced/listed as a two bedroom. Also, the carpet in the room is filthy, needs cleaning or replacing. Ice maker did not work.Some improvements needed and some would be so easy to do, just some care and attention would go a long way. For example, the toilet paper holder, shower curtain rings, fixtures, etc all rusted. Bathroom mat was very dirty and never seemed to dry completely. Just get rid of it and have a mat included with the linens. Outdated and moldy/rusty tub.Overall, we enjoyed our stay since the Villa Capriani has so much to offer. The ease of access to pools, hot tubs and beach was fantastic! But a more cared for condo would be appreciated. But again, kudos on the comfy bed though, that’s important!

Most relaxing vacation

We loved staying at Villa Capriani for our family beach vacation! The condo was so cute and clean! The grounds were beautiful, amazing pools and the beach and ocean just steps away! This was our first time to North Topsail and we just loved it! Such a beautiful place that we are already missing and can’t wait to return to again!!!

Capri Sun was AMAZING! It was everything that was promised! We had a very positive experience! It was clean and tidy! The bed was most comfortable! The view of the ocean was beautiful! Had our coffee on the deck while listening to the waves! Easy check in and check out! Alan was always available to answer any questions and in a timely manner! And he checked in on us mid stay! The restaurant, Splash by the Sea, on the property is an added bonus! The staff were amazing and the food delicious! There was even live entertainment on Tuesday evening!
