The House:
- 3 very spacious bedrooms: one bedroom with 2 queen sized beds, one bedroom with one queen sized bed, and one bedroom with king-size bed. Two of the bedrooms, have their own full bathroom en suites!

- A modern fully equipped kitchen
- Cozy living room with 2 queen sized sofa beds
- A formal dining room with large dining table that sits 6 for shared meals and celebrations
- An enclosed porch with serene view of the back of property and Mashipacong Island.

We have a Ring doorbell camera and one outdoor camera facing the driveway. There are no indoor cameras.
The property is located in 1.72 acres of land with a river stream located behind the house. The river stream area features stunning views of Mashipacong Island. Enjoy seasonal views, abundant wildlife, and the chance to see Bald and Golden Eagles that frequent the property.
The property and islands offer unmatched scenery, seasonal beauty, and incredible opportunities to observe birds and wildlife in their natural habitat.
The property has a rich history being it is near a large historic island. These islands on the river where the Bennykill Channels stems from are also historic because they are known to have been locations where Native Americans would reside or visit through their spiritual beliefs or because of living in the area areas.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole property, house, and the parking area on the property.
Exclusions: Garages, sheds on the property, neighboring houses, and their designated areas.
Signs are posted to mark the boundaries of our property. We kindly ask that you stay within the designated property areas and be courteous to neighbors, and other guests in the area, as well as anyone working or using the property.
Proximity to Tri-state locations such as City of Port Jervis Metro-North NYC rail line (10 mins), Milford, PA (15 mins), Mountain creek (35 Mins), Legoland (35 mins), and shopping centers, etc. Our spacious home is in our country private property with river frontage, breathtaking views next to Mashipacong Island which can also be seen.
This is the perfect place if you have any occasions near the Montague. An abundance of popular venues is available such as the Banquet & Event Center at High Point Golf Club, Riverview Inn and Lightup the Spectrum Inclusion Center to name a few.
This home has been thoughtfully updated with a brand-new roof, kitchen, bathrooms, and fresh paint throughout, ensuring a modern and comfortable stay.
Our Policy:
We are partnered with Superhog (Know Your Guest) – the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider.
Prior to initiating the booking process, it will be necessary for you to undergo identity verification and provide your ID, as well as submitting a damage deposit.
Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up to date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.
Please note: Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted automatically via email and/or text to complete the verification.
Other details to note:
Please keep in mind that groups larger than 4 guests will include an extra guest fee of $35/guest per night after 4 guests in the total booking amount.
We are one of the few stay locations that accepts house trained pets. There is a 3 pet maximum allowance and it is $30/per pet, per night fee. For certified therapy dogs please be prepared to show proof of your certification to avoid the fee. Thank you.
*We adhere to our strict cancellation policies. Requests for any alteration/changes of booking dates will only be accepted if it is within 13 days of the initial booking date. If alteration of dates is 14 days or more, then the guest MUST cancel reservation and adhere to cancelation policies. No exceptions or alternatives accepted.*
DISCLAIMER: Power outages unfortunately are out of our control. No refunds or reimbursements of any kind will be issued for any guest that experiences a power outage.
You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver.
Kindly note the following:
**If you choose to pay a refundable deposit, the $750.00 damage deposit will be automatically charged to your card.
**The damage deposit will be refunded 7 days after the check-out day.
**The damage waiver fee is $75.00, and it cannot be refunded.
**There is a small non-refundable $20 fee associated with the "Know Your Guest" Verification process for the damage deposit fee transaction.
**Failure to comply with our policy and house rules will result in the cancellation of the booking without issuing a refund.
