Our stay was just as advertised. It wasn't fancy but the cabin had everything that we needed. We had 2 couples staying and it was very comfortable. We had fun exploring Lake City.
Charming and comfortable property, right in town. We had everything we needed and a bit of Lake City flair to boot. Stay was comfortable, clean, and cute. Host was communicative, but offered privacy. Great spot.
We were looking for a pet friendly place to stay. It was the only place that showed up.. we werenât sure about parking and also unsure about having a handicap child. Everything was great. Parking in the front was easy to get our son in and out of the house. It was a little warm for us the first night but it cooled off and we slept well after that.
Sasquatch Inn is located less than a block from the historic Lake City downtown. This neighborhood is in the heart of our Lake City Historic District and close to walking trails and the renowned Alpine Loop. We are convenient to State Highway 149 that leads to numerous adventures, from Creede to the south and Gunnison to the north, Blue Mesa Reservoir to North Clear Creek Falls.
Our crooked little house was built in 1876 and refurbished in the mid 1990s. At that time a foundation was installed as well as an addition to the back of the house.
