We are pet lovers so we encourage you to make your furry friends at home. Smoking and vaping allowed outdoors only. Our property is permitted by the Town of Lake City under STR Permit #TLCNR54.
This property was absolutely perfect for our needs. Having 2 full bathrooms was wonderful. Jodi was super welcoming to us & our pets. Thank you for all the extras like the dog bed & dog treats. My husband lost his keys & pocket knife. We werenât sure where but when Jodi found them she lets us know she found them. She even offered to mail them to us. Wonderful host! We want to stay here again! Great location o town & the Alpine Loop! Canât say enough good!!
First impressions are lasting!! The flower box below the window had dead flowers and tall weeds on one side of the house next to the lumber yard that was next door. A backhoe was parked directly in front of the house when we arrived. The front door screen was busted and had a rope through the hole as a handle to get in and out. We could only enter the house through the rear door. Check in was fine and the house had been cleaned and had a fairly new coat of paint on the walls. Definitely not worth the cost! The picture on VRBO was definitely a few years old.
This is the cutest little place in a fantastic location. It had everything we needed for our 10 day stay and even extra amenities such as a full complement of spices and several games. They were so accommodating for our little pup too. I would highly recommend this place so you have easy walking access to Lake Cityâs downtown and several restaurants.
Our stay was just as advertised. It wasn't fancy but the cabin had everything that we needed. We had 2 couples staying and it was very comfortable. We had fun exploring Lake City.
We were looking for a pet friendly place to stay. It was the only place that showed up.. we werenât sure about parking and also unsure about having a handicap child. Everything was great. Parking in the front was easy to get our son in and out of the house. It was a little warm for us the first night but it cooled off and we slept well after that.
Charming and comfortable property, right in town. We had everything we needed and a bit of Lake City flair to boot. Stay was comfortable, clean, and cute. Host was communicative, but offered privacy. Great spot.
Sasquatch Inn is located less than a block from the historic Lake City downtown. This neighborhood is in the heart of our Lake City Historic District and close to walking trails and the renowned Alpine Loop. We are convenient to State Highway 149 that leads to numerous adventures, from Creede to the south and Gunnison to the north, Blue Mesa Reservoir to North Clear Creek Falls.
Our crooked little house was built in 1876 and refurbished in the mid 1990s. At that time a foundation was installed as well as an addition to the back of the house.
