We loved this cabin! Very spacious, loved the deep kitchen sink, great water pressure in the large walk-in shower. Comfy couches in living room, nice front porch and private fenced in back yard. We saw large deer grazing in the yard.No toaster and pedestal sink in bathroom that didnât give much room for toiletries were the only negatives. We downloaded the DishAnywhere app onto the smart tv and were able to watch tv just like at home! A big plus for the hubby.Had tons of towels and pillows. We didnât use, but there is a washer/dryer combo unit.We were concerned at first about room for parking our pickup, trailer, and side by side, as it has a shared driveway. But it worked out that we had plenty of room for everything. Lake City is UTV friendly, and we love being able to ride to the trails directly from the cabin. We have stayed in Lake City several times, and this was our favorite cabin so far!
This cabin was perfect for our vacation. It was a great size and right in the middle of all the Lake City action. We loved the location. We have been to Lake City over ten times. We got married in Lake City and now have the joy of bringing our daughter here. The cabin was a great size and had most of what we needed. We bought a grill brush to clean off the grill and left it for others to use. Also suggest for future that you add night lights in both bedrooms and bathroom, a hairdryer, and some large serving spoons. Otherwise we had everything we needed. I deducted one star from check-in since the house didnât seem to be clean when we arrived but after reaching out that was taken care of right away. Appreciated Hunterâs responsiveness. We hope to be back to Lake City again soon and would love to stay here again. Thank you!
Great house for us to crash at while climbing at the ice park. Great kitchen, sitting area, and beds. We were also impressed with the property manager that came and fixed an issue within an hour of us reaching out. Great job, Hunter!
Stayed a few days for the Wine and Music Festival. Fit our needs perfectly. All the amenities of home. Great to come back to and relax, after music and other excursions. Leaves were popping nicely.
The location of the cabin was great. It was comfortable and clean. There was an issue with the lock and we locked ourselves out. Hunter and the owner both responded quickly and it was resolved immediately. Lake City has some great restaurants and the Alpine Loop is very close to town with easy access. We had a wonderful time .
We come to Lake City every year and explore the various options for housing arrangements. We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. It is close to town and the Lake and met all of our needs
Property was clean. Close to town. Roomy.
Pros: plenty of towels, bedding, and shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap every where was well stocked. Basic coffee maker is supplied. Pancake griddle was nice to have. Queen bed was comfortable.
Cons: No toaster. No tea kettle. No salt. More fans in the rooms, a ceiling fan in the bedrooms would be great. It gets hot during the day in July. More utensils such as wooden spoons or silicone spatulas to not scrape the non stick pans. More toilet paper needed.
There are some cleaning issues that need to be address and maintenance. We didnât realize it was right on the Main Street fairly loud. The main parts of the house were as pictured and pretty nice. Bedrooms could use some help.
There was only two of us so it was adequately sized. It was quiet. It is right on the highway which we would have preferred not to be. It was not thoroughly cleaned. There was thin dust on and under all surfaces. The propane grilled has burned out sections on the burners making it difficult to cook the food properly. It had an undersized flat screen TV with Apple TV on it. You had to buy or rent everything on it including TV shows. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The drain in the shower was not properly installed and was painful if you stepped on it. It could be a cutting hazard. It had a beautiful front porch but had only two uncomfortable canvas camping chairs on it. We would have have spent much more time on the porch if it had had comfortable seating. We enjoyed our stay but would have enjoyed much more.
