Old Church Cottage sits on a half-acre and is minutes from popular hiking trails, rivers and Grave Mountain Lodge, our cottage is ideally situated to enjoy local culture, take in farm tours and Bluegrass & Apple Festivals. You can relax in our backyard hammock, grill in the back yard, fish in the nearby Rapidan, Robinson or Rose Rivers, hike Old Rag and White Oak Canyon and many other close trails. The Space. The Old Church Cottage is a retreat like environment where you can start your journey to transform your wellbeing, your health and relax all at the same time. It is designed to help us, and our guests enjoy the landscape and environment, located on a quiet street in a sparsely populated and quiet neighborhood. It is common to see people on horseback clomping down the street along with bicycling on the road. Our neighbors across the street are friendly and helpful! Our street is relatively quiet with the only traffic coming from those who live in the area. We frequently walk the roads for an easy hike in the hills and we are 1/2 mile to Graves Mountain Lodge. The Graves Mountain Lodge Apple Festival is held the first three weekends in October and not to mention all the other festivals and activities throughout the year. Families might want to make a reservation at the local Landon Farm and enjoy a private session w some cute and cuddly creatures. There are goats, sheep, alpacas, zebu and mini pigs.
