Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves during our week-long stay. The layout/setup of the cabin is perfect for a family looking to have everyone together while still giving space/privacy to all. We loved that the master bedroom was right next to the hot tub room & bathroom. We appreciated the patio furniture & chairs were ample for gathering around a nice fire at night. There were a few hiccups right off bat with broken appliances, but the owner and maintenance were quick to resolve the next business day.I highly recommend making sure to note that you must pack basics such as bath towels, wash clothes, dish towels, soaps, garbage bags, seasonings, cooking sprays and charcoal . We also brought cleaning supplies and a vacuum, and that really came in handy. If you're looking for a way to unplug, you will be able to do that easily as we couldn't make phone calls and had very minimal service. The "free wifi" doesn't work. There are only two things that stood out to us that make us hesitant to return or recommend. The cleanliness of the property is more than just subpar. We spent 1.5 hours upon arrival cleaning surfaces & floors. The property wasn't as described when it came to being able to enjoy/swim in the lake, although the paddle boat and row boats were nice to have. Luckily Tomah had a nice community pool, and we ended up doing a day trip to the dells with our 4 kids. The price point of this property allows you a nice getaway, and reminds you of 'heading to grandmas'
