Beautiful house, great location.Only cons were that some electrical outlets in the kitchen were not working, the floors were really dirty when we first arrived, and the WiFi is painfully slow.

House was great. Not as well appointed as others I've stayed in at Crystal Beach, but generally as described. The grill was not usable (broken). Could use more kitchen appliances and accessories in my opinion (maybe a crock pot, more serving ware, more pans, more dishtowels), overall a wonderful stay and would visit again. Propane tank for the fire pit was empty, so we exchanged - just a heads up you may need to do that.

Family beach trip

We enjoyed our stay the house fit our family of 8 comfortably! The host was wonderful and the house is definitely in a great location.

When we got to the house we had to sit out side for 30 minutes because it was still being cleaned when it should have been done at 3:30 but when we got inside there was dirty dishes in the sink and the dishwasher was not unloaded. In the room with the bunk beds the tv cord could not reach an outlet so the tv was useless. The tv in the living room worked but it was glitching and the last day it wouldn’t even work or turn on a show. The place was pretty nice and clean otherwise and we had a good time. It’s also very close to the beach.

Thank you for letting me know about the dishes. I will address with the cleaning service. The tv plug is behind the tv to hide cords, the lower one was not the correct one. WiFi for tv usually works amazing but bad weather will affect that on the peninsula.

Looked just like pictures and beautiful. One row back from ocean and extremely short drive to beach access where you can drive down the sand to find the perfect spot! We did have to check in late because cleaners were still cleaning when we got there. We just went shopping for about an hour and a 1/2 and then they were done. Beds comfy and clean, but kitchen table still had food on it, baseboards and door cases were dirty with smears, dirty finger prints and dust. The kitchen was pretty clean, but backsplashes could use a good scrub and toaster was full of leftovers. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would go back in a heartbeat. We just hope that the cleaning staff will take note and scrub the baseboards, door jams and backsplashes and clean out the toasters and coffee maker. Don’t hesitate to rent this one! The owner is super, super, super fast to respond as well :) This one checks all the boxes!

Great stay

We stayed for 4 nights with 2 families. Total of 4 adults and 6 kids. The house was perfect and fit us nicely. We could have slept one more in the bunk room but any more kids, etc. would have had to sleep on a couch. The house is walking distance to the beach and close to all town amenities. Only thing we felt we were missing was a BBQ pit downstairs but otherwise had a great time. The large porch upstairs and the downstairs area were both great hangout spots for everyone.

Great house!

Everything about this house was excellent from beginning to end. It is very clean and modern. Communication with the owner/property manager was excellent. - The check in and check out instructions were easy and very reasonable. - The listing was perfect for my group. - The only issue is we had is that the house is listed as sleeping 16, but it sleeps 12. 16 is the max capacity. - The owner is aware of this discrepancy with how VRBO lists the property and does a good job of listing out the beds accurately and clearly. - The other issue we had had absolutely nothing to do with the house or the owner... It was with the neighbors/renters (?). There was a very loud party going on nearby until about 3am... I'm not sure if that's a common thing for this area this time of year...so I recommend throwing in a pair of earplugs to be safe.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful, the location was perfect, and the property owner was wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond, answered all of my questions, and made the booking process easy.The only downside was check-in. We arrived at 3:00 p.m. after a four-hour drive, but the cleaning crew had just arrived and the house wasn't ready. Only one bedroom had been cleaned, so we had to leave and come back later. That was definitely frustrating.Despite the check-in delay, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely book this home again.

There is a lot to unpack in this review and want it noted that VRBO did help make it right. -First off whenever we arrived, there was broken glass shards in multiple areas around the property but mostly in the livingroom and dining room (safety hazard) and so we had to wear shoes the whole time in fear of stepping on glass. There were dirty dishes and towels in the washer as well as forgotten, dirty wash cloths on the floor and the beds had sand still in them, which means they didn't get washed or changed prior, and to make it worse, there were only enough extra sheets for one of the queen beds. Everyone was forced to sleep on top of the bedding. The host sent a cleaner which we had to wait almost 2 hours for her arrivals so we went to eat dinner while she made it more "liveable". We still found glass on the floor throughout our stay and on the second night our homemade dinner was ruined because the pyrex pan shattered in the oven. So we believe that it may have been already broken and thats where all the floor glass came from when we arrived. The ac is set to a schedule that goes to 78 in the middle of the night so you have to repetitively change it back to 73 and then it takes hours to get back to temperature. These are huge inconveniences that I hope are corrected prior to the next renters.The beach house itself was wonderful, with modern upgrades and good attention to detail, BUT, if it is not properly maintained then this property will not be desirable IMO.

This was the perfect space for our quick family get away! The house was beautiful, spacious, and had all the things we needed. Check in was super easy. The host was prompt with answering questions and they provided all of the info needed to make our stay amazing!!
