Welcome to the Ambassador Penthouse Suite at Destin West Beach and Bay Resort, an extraordinary 3 bedroom/3.5 bath top-floor retreat in the Heron building overlooking the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay. This spacious 2,389 sq. ft. luxury penthouse offers breathtaking waterfront views and an incredible two-level private patio, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable coastal getaway.

The highlight of this stunning residence is the expansive wrap-around balcony with a spiral staircase leading to a private rooftop patio, where guests can enjoy panoramic bay views while relaxing in the four-person hot tub. The outdoor space is perfect for morning coffee, sunset cocktails, or simply taking in the coastal breeze.

Inside, the condo has been professionally decorated with elegant furnishings and upgraded throughout with a modern audio/visual package and 2024 TVs for premium entertainment.

The luxurious master suite features a magnificent king-size bed, custom lighting, dual nightstands, and a Sony flat-screen television. The spa-inspired master bathroom includes a glass-enclosed steam shower, an oversized Jacuzzi soaking tub, dual vanities, and beautiful skylights that fill the space with natural light.

Two additional guest bedrooms each offer beautiful views, comfortable sleeping arrangements, entertainment centers, and ample storage space.

The spacious living room is designed for relaxation and entertaining, featuring comfortable seating, updated sofas (purchased March 2024), and a 65-inch Sony flat screen TV. Adjacent to the living space is a large dark wood dining table that seats eight, ideal for family meals and gatherings.

The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, crown molding, and modern appliances including a side-by-side refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, ultra-quiet dishwasher, smooth-top range oven, built-in microwave, and garbage disposal. Guests will also find a coffee maker, toaster, blender, and all necessary cookware and utensils.

The property was beautiful. The family really enjoyed the facility. Housekeeping was not the best. Several problems were detected upon arrival but management compensated us for the inconvenience and less than satisfactory cleaned upon arrival.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this Penthouse three times now and many other condos and Penthouses in DW since 2013. This place for us has the best views and space we need for family and friends. What is lacking is kitchen pots and pans to cook. Two years ago we bought a metal skillet at Target to use and left it. That is still there and so are what we believe is the original cookwear. We cook breakfast and about half of our dinners at the at the unit. One small pot and two sizes of skillets is all they provide plus ours and lots of lids that have nothing that goes with them. Large scratches all over the bottoms so everything sticks not to mention what's leaching into the food. The grilling area is great next to the pool. So if you decide to spend that kind of money on this unit, bring your own pots and pans until they decide to replace what's there. They upgraded the outdoor furniture which was nice. The lamps in one guest bedrooms was gone and replaced with these tiny fixtures with a lightbulb. Good luck with the outlets if you need to charge. We moved things around until we found one that worked. Large kitchen, dining room table and sitting area.
