Great place to stay

Parking off the street a great extra. We would stay again if in Pasadena for business or pleasure.

Very nice, newly renovated bungalow in a convenient location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is a great value! My teenage daughter and I stayed here 5 nights while she was doing a camp at LACM. Everything was newly renovated and very comfortable. We didn't hear any noise from neighbors or the street, except birds.The decor is stylish. Property management was very professional. Would definitely recommend!

Convenient and clean bungalow!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A lovely, small bungalow, very compact, with everything you might want to use in the kitchen. Tastefully decorated and furnished. No problem sleeping, quiet at night. Near Playhouse and Historic Districts, also not far from freeway. Walking distance to grocery and restaurants. We enjoyed our visit and would stay there again!

Over priced for rental condition

Clean and comfortable

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival there was a “snack box” with chips, salsa, cookies, coffee and wine provided, which I thought was a very nice touch. Having an access code instead of a key for the door was extremely convenient and less hassle than having to remember to take, and carry around, an additional key. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels which I really appreciated. I wish there was a TV in the bedroom but it really didn’t make that much of a difference for the few nights that we were there. Bottom line is, I would rent this apartment again.

Very Nice Bungalow!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Sycamore bungalow for 12 days. Overall, the stay was great. The location is perfect - only a few minutes from everything - groceries, restaurants, and easy access to the freeway. We had everything that we needed in the house - dishes, cookware, (silverware could be improved on), and washer/dryer. The neighborhood is quiet and we had no issues.My only complaint would be that the "couch" in the living room is a very uncomfortable futon. I know that it's an attempt to create another sleeping area, but maybe invest in a more comfortable mattress? I was recovering from surgery during my stay, so spent most of my time sitting there, and it was not at all comfortable!

My stay at the Sycamore was great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was accurately described. I was pleasantly surprised that all amenities were supplied! I didn't have to go out and buy toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee maker, toaster, flatware, etc. They also provided a dvd player, stereo and board games. There were maps with recommended things to do and restaurants in the area. The bungalow was neat and clean. There was plenty of drawer and closet space to unpack my suitcase. I loved the private sitting area out back. The location was excellent. It is just off Orange Grove and close to most everything you'd want. The management team of Kathleen and Helena were very professional and kept contact with me before, during and after my stay. I would definitely recommend this bungalow to everyone.

Quaint Little Place with Everything you Need

The Sycamore was exactly as described and the little fenced in courtyard in front was a nice surprise when arriving - it was lovely that the apartment wasn't right on the street. The owner made my arrival welcome with a lovely gift basket and an informative binder with all the information I would need about the apartment and the area for my stay. I was traveling on business and spend at least one week in Pasadena a month, so it was a wonderful break from a hotel and nice to have a place to call my own,. I loved the kitchen which was stocked with everything I needed in order to cook dinner on most evenings. For those nights I didn't want to cook, it was a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the busy Colorado St.with all the shops and restaurants you would need. The WiFi was strong, and the TV selection / choices were abundant - these are things not all would necessarily find big conveniences, but because I am a business traveler, it was such a bonus to have WiFi that wasn't slow or only 16 ESPN or Fox news channels to choose from. If you are traveling to Pasadena and are looking for a good "home base", this is the place. The apartment was clean, perfect sized, and in a perfect location. You have parking, easy access to the freeway, and both down and old town areas AND you certainly can't beat the price.

Pasadena Apartment

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed for two months.This cozy 1 bedroom apartment was near Garfield Heights, which is known for its charming bungalows. And close to shopping/dining districts as well as the center of town and Colorado Boulevard. The unit was cozy — living room and table for two dining area all combined. But it was immaculate and a nice basket of goodies was there on my arrival. The kitchen was also immaculate and well appointed with a coffee maker and toaster, and also had a good assortment of pots and pans, cutlery, glasses and plates, utensils. But there were no placemats or dish towels or scissors, so I bought my own.My only real quibble was with the heating system. During my two-month stay, the temperatures were in the high 30s and low 40s at night. There was only one HVAC unit in the apartment and it was in the bedroom. So the kitchen and living room/dining room and bathroom would get quite cold. The ceiling fan in the bedroom helped push some heat into the other rooms.

Charming Bungalow!

Full size stove for cooking, all the pots, pans and cooking utensils I needed to cook my meals at home. The bungalow is very close to Old Town and I found a great little bakery called Euro Pane I loved to go for a morning coffee. If you want a convenient, comfortable place to stay, this bungalow is a great choice. I highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

I truly loved my stay there. It is exactly as advertised. The location cannot be beat with regards to being close to everything in Pasadena. The bungalow is clean and well maintained. It was perfect for what I needed. The hosts were very attentive to anything I needed, and accommodated my continuous stay extensions due to my house not closing on time.

Wonderful Bungalow So Close to Old Town!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This little bungalow is a hidden gem in the city. One of four bungalows around a courtyard, it is quiet and comfortable. My first impression was appreciation for how clean and fresh the bungalow was, with a lovely gift basket full of goodies. A full kitchen, laundry, private outdoor seating area, good light and a strong wifi signal, I enjoyed my time in the Pasadena area. Great for a couple or family with a small kid, I was happy to have found this spot and will definitely stay again!

Quaint and clean home away from home!

We stayed in this cute little bungalow for two weeks while our house was being renovated. It was the perfect home away from home! The things I enjoyed most were: 1) Clean! Clean! Clean! The place was spotless and well appointed with everything you may need (soap, towels, etc). 2) Location! Was fabulous for us as we were trying to stay as local as possible as my kids still needed to get to school! The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. 3) Parking was super easy. There is a designated spot in the parking area next to the bungalow and plenty of street parking available as well. 4) Prompt and courteous communication with Kathleen & Kate. Check-in was very easy with a key code. 5) Private laundry room with full sized washer and dryer! I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Pasadena area! :-)

I was inbetween houses and stayed for 28 nights. I brought a lot of stuff with me including 1/2 of my office! There was a place for everything. It is very clean and Kate was really great to work with. Also, close to so many things. I hightly recommend!

It was in a convenient location to all things Pasadena and as a single woman I felt safe there and appreciated the parking space. The manager was very attentive and gave excellent recommendations for local eateries. There was a bit of a learning curve with the television ( watched my iPad instead) and the air conditioning wall unit ( I’m not too mechanical!) but it all worked out.
