Enjoy your home away from home at Misty Manor on Piney Island, off of Chincoteague Island. It is the second closest street you can stay to the beautiful beaches and peaceful serenity of Assateague Island! This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath vintage Chincoteague cottage is the perfect retreat to slow down, take a deep breath, start a fire, ride bikes to the beach, and truly enjoy an island getaway! This cottage is a year-round destination. Misty Manor is perfect for solos, couples, families or a girls trip! Six guest max (4 adults max) due to septic constraints.

This renovated, one-story home is the perfect place to stay when visiting Chincoteague Island. It is in the closest community to Assateague Island. It is 2.1 miles to the beach but also a short bike or ride into town and in close proximity to bike rentals and Maui Jacks. It is a quiet street but located just off of Maddox so easy access to restaurants, stores, golf, ice cream, and more!

You will find two King master bedrooms on separate sides of the house allowing for privacy and one bedroom with two double beds. There is also a second, small living room with a pull out queen size sofa bed. All beds and linens are new in 2025. Each bedroom contains a full closet and ceiling fan with remote as well as room darkening curtains if you like to catch your Zs while on vacation! All 3 bedrooms and both living areas are equipped with a smart TV (5 total). Wifi is provided.

One full bath and one half bath will suit your needs along with an outside shower.

The full kitchen contains all of your basic cooking needs for a week at the beach! There is even a mini fridge and basic bar supplies.

There is a large back screened in porch for dinners and games as well as a front deck for morning coffee. The front sunroom is great place to sit and relax as well.

The dining area seats six. The screened in porch offers a dining table for six as well. There is a full size stackable washer and dryer for your laundry needs.

The cleaning fee includes linens for each bed, pillows, quilts and bath towels for six as well as kitchen towels and some extra beach towels. We also include a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap and trash bags.

We have a shed with beach necessities and bikes available for you to use or you can easily walk to the bike rental across the street. There is also a water access boat ramp if you bring a kayak or canoe.
