Lorsque vous arrivez à High Bank Ranch, vous comprendrez immédiatement pourquoi nous sommes la destination pour les réunions de famille et le plaisir de la rivière Guadalupe. Le complexe de 2 maisons est conçu pour capturer les activités de plein air et peut accueillir 22 personnes dans des lits confortables. Vous pouvez commencer votre journée avec un café au bord de la piscine mis en valeur par le bruit des cascades et une brise fraîche. Lorsque les enfants commencent, nous avons le meilleur swing d'arbre sur le lac McQueeney, le volley-ball / badminton, les jeux de jardin, les kayaks et la piscine. La journée ne fait que s'améliorer dans la cuisine extérieure de première classe construite en 2016 (barbecue à gaz, four / cuisinière à gaz, évier de bar à cocktails, machine à glaçons et réfrigérateur), l'arôme du four à pizza et le 70 po. TV dans l'espace de vie extérieur. Beaucoup d'espace pour nos clients, une grande allée et une intimité à gogo sur 63 acres. Un bonus supplémentaire est un branchement complet pour VR et grange / pâturage si vous souhaitez amener vos chevaux, équitation, randonnée et vélo.

Notre propriété est située sur la rivière Guadalupe (section du lac McQueeney). La rivière ici est assez profonde pour accueillir un bateau mais en même temps pas dans la section occupée de la rivière, donc des flotteurs d'eau sont disponibles pour votre usage et nous avons 2 kayaks. Apportez vos cannes à pêche pour le poisson-chat et l'achigan. Le complexe de 2 maisons comprend 8 chambres (5 dans la maison principale et 3 dans le pool house), 5 salles de bain complètes (3 dans la maison principale et 2 dans le pool house), 1 douche extérieure, 2 bains à remous (1 dans la maison principale et 1 au bord de la piscine) , tous les draps / serviettes et ustensiles de cuisine nécessaires pour votre séjour, Wi-Fi dans les deux bâtiments et la cuisine extérieure, 2 buanderies.

Highly recommend!We had an absolutely incredible stay at High Bank Ranch for our co-ed wedding party weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property and the warmth of the host. Communication with the host was seamless and made everything stress-free.The 2-house setup is perfect for groups, comfortably sleeping 10 couples, and designed for both relaxation and fun. Our group spent most of our time outdoors, enjoying the sparkling pool and the first-class outdoor kitchen (cocktail bar sink, fully stocked cookware / utensils, fridge, wine fridge, and deep freezer; everything we needed!). It truly felt like a luxury outdoor living space, and our guests loved every minute of it.One highlight of the weekend was having a private Hibachi chef come out and cook for us. There was more than enough space.There was plenty of room to spread out, with a huge driveway, total privacy across 63 acres, and the peaceful backdrop of the Guadalupe River. The property is immaculate and thoughtfully stocked: 8 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, 2 hot tubs, outdoor shower, 2 laundry rooms, fast Wi-Fi, and all linens and towels included.Every detail of this stay exceeded our expectations, from the comfort of the homes to the incredible outdoor setup. Our guests are still raving about the experience, and we are already looking forward to coming back. If you’re looking for the ultimate Texas Hill Country getaway with family or friends, this is it.

The home was beautiful and in a great location. It easily accommodated our group of 18, with plenty of space and sleeping arrangements for everyone. The pool, house, and restrooms were spotless and well-prepared for our stay. After entering through the ranch gate, there’s a short scenic drive to the property, which we loved—it felt private and secluded with no nearby neighbors. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and overall the experience exceeded expectations. We would definitely book again!

High Bank Ranch was absolutely amazing. Our family of 22 fit comfortably in the two houses. Everything was so nice and clean. They thought of everything! The volleyball net, the pool, the lawn games , the ping pong table, the kayaks and the paddleboard kept all of our kids so busy and outside having fun together! Suzanne was such a great host. She even had Amazon deliver extra pizza pans for the brick oven pizza just to make sure we had enough. Highly recommended! We will be back!

Wonderful Place for Larger Parties

I have been doing our friends yearly Comal River Float event for 5 years and this was by far the best place for our party of 22. Enough beds, bathrooms, and plenty of food prep areas with 3 refrigerators and a deep freezer to cook for everyone. Highly recommend for a large headcount.

Had a family of 12- was excellent!!The outdoor kitchen is the bomb!! Has every dish and utensil you need! Lots to do here- swimming, fishing,Volley ball, badminton, ping pong, kayaking or just take a long walk up the driveway and back. We had a blast- strongly recommend!!!

Perfect!!

High Bank Ranch in New Braunfels gave our family a vacation we’ll never forget. The property is gorgeous—peaceful, spacious, and set up for making memories. But what made the biggest difference was the attention to detail Suzanne and her team provided. Everything was perfect … certainly above and beyond any of our expectations. The pool area was a favorite for our children and grandchildren. They swam for hours every day and absolutely loved every minute. The outdoor kitchens were another highlight—we enjoyed cooking together and eating outside in the beautiful Hill Country. And the Treehouse was the perfect place to relax, connect, and enjoy time as a family. Sharing the river for the first time with our grandkids was especially meaningful for us! They swam, enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boards and did flips off the dock. They now understand why it holds such a special place in our hearts and they’re already asking when we can return.Thank you, Suzanne, for making this such a special trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or better people. We’ll absolutely be back!

The perfect retreat

The whole property was as advertised. Our annual family gathering is something we all look forward to every memorial weekend. This stay was amazing. We played games, listened to music and cooked great meals in the outdoor kitchen. Fished, and the little ones loved greeting the donkeys every morning. Accommodations are 5 star. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Pictures don't do justice for the property! It is well maintained, spacious, and cozy! Pool has the option to be heated which is a plus! Access to the river was close a bonus. It felt so much like a home away from home! We loved it! The Host Susanne was so kind throughout the entire process.

Fabulous large family gathering place

This property exceeded everyone’s expectations. It was perfect for our large group to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house was very well stocked and had plenty of refrigerator space to handle a big group. The outdoor cooking /entertainment pavilion was where we spent a large majority of time. TV,games, full kitchen and plenty of comfortable seating made this a go to spot The pool and hot tub completed the feel of the outdoor oasis. Everyone wanted to rebook for next year !! The owner communication was timely, thorough,and welcoming on of our best Vrbo experiences ever.

Our favorite Lakehouse to stay at!

We had a wonderful stay as always! This was our third time booking Susanne's beautiful Lakehouse property. Susanne is the best host. She is so nice, communicative, and helpful via the Vbro message system or through text. The house is gorgeous! We love taking out the kayaks on the river. You feel like you are at a resort with the beautiful pool & hot tub. The outdoor kitchen area is the best, it's so nice to make dinner out there on an evening with perfect weather. We love the house because we like to cook and the house has everything you could ever need to make a delicious dinner! The house is decorated nicely, so you feel like you are at home. I could go on and on, it's just the best Lakehouse getaway! Thank you Susanne!

21 Thumbs Up!! The Perfect Getaway!! Book It!!

We had a Navy Retirement party with friends and family. Beautiful home with an area for everyone in our large group! Some hung out in the pool/jacuzzi, some in the patio area watching football on a 70" outdoor TV. Lots of ping pong tournaments! We also played cards and Giant Jenga at a patio table with seating for 16!! The outdoor kitchen was perfect for grilling and there was covered seating w/firepits and places to just sit and chat. Not to mention those that swam and fished in the lake! The home had plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms and was incredibly well-stocked with spices, foil, everything!! No flies or mosquitos either!! We will be back again!!!!

Just as fun our 2nd time back

This is a great sprawling property where there's too much to do in one weekend. It was my 2nd time back and it was just as good as I remembered. Would highly recommend. I gave the "Accuracy of Online Listing" rating 2 stars because it says "6 minute walk to Bandit Golf Course." This is true but misleading. If you want to play Bandit, it is a 17 minute drive unless you bring your own Guadalupe River ferry.

Perfect place for family vacation!

Our family of 18, ranging in age from 9 to 73 had a great time. We were well entertained with the pool, river and games. The kitchens (both indoor and outdoor) were equipped with everything you could possibly need. The sleeping accommodations worked out perfectly for our family. Susanne was the perfect host. Her communication before, during and after our stay was excellent. We certainly made some wonderful memories at this property. Everyone agreed this house was the perfect choice for our family vacation.

A Piece of Heaven!

The property was beautiful!! We never had to leave. Everything we needed or wanted was on this property. We have 8 grandchildren and they had a blast!! Our hostess was wonderful. She communicated with us before, during and after the stay. Such a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be booking again next year!!

Beautiful place to stay

Our family LOVED this place. We had all ages stay, young teens, young adults, mid-age adults, and seniors and we all loved it. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was perfect and she answered every question we had. A minor maintenance issue popped up that she needed to have taken care of, she let us know there would be repairmen on site and that they would not need to be inside. They came, did what they needed to do and left quietly. I appreciated the heads up, and they did not interfere with our stay at all! The beds were comfortable and every room was just as she had described. We will definitely stay here again

My family has been visiting the Hill Country our whole lives even while living and raising our children in the Houston area. After the kids graduated from high school we wanted to retire in a small town setting that still offered some big city activities close by. Most importantly water and outdoor excursions.

We were always drawn to New Braunfels. The people here are honest and friendly. There is always something to do and the climate of the area allows for year around outdoor activities. When the opportunity arose for us to own land in such a beautiful setting we were thrilled. We have put a lot of work and sweat into building our dream ranch.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Lake McQueeney is a hidden gem. You can drive into town and float the Guadalupe River in many locations but our section of the river is peaceful and serene. We love being able to put the Kayaks in the water for a leisure ride upstream or just tying a tube to the dock for lazy floating is my happy place.
