Location was really great. The hosts were very responsive. Had everything you could need and for a tiny home, felt like plenty of space. Enjoyed Christmas Day here!
Host was responsive. The stay was just what we wanted. Hot tub, unique stay, remote yet close to downtown, our dogs could join us on vacation, and it had a fenced in yard. They thought of everything you would need during your stay. We would love to visit again!
Perfect little get away. We enjoyed the privacy of the location and how close it was to different locations across the asheville region. The guess make you feel right at home and go above and beyond what you would expect
Great getaway spot! Perfect for a relaxing retreat. Was nervous about the road up to the cabin, can be kind of steep and does turn into gravel but I followed Benâs suggestions and my Toyota Corolla made it just fine!
This tiny house truly delivered big! So much love and attention went into curating the space, which allowed us to focus on relaxing!Cozy, inviting, pet friendly, and perfectly equipped â we couldnât have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!
Loved our stay at the Tiny house. It was just as listed. Very relaxing, quiet and has everything you need. Will definitely be back to get away from the hustle and bustle of life!
This cabin was well organized, completely stocked and had everything we needed for our stay! I would only mention the location of the cabin is very close to another home. I did not pick that up in pictures or the description and it did not cause us any real issues just was unexpected when we pulled up that it was in someoneâs shared driveway/backyard. Ben was very accommodating and open and quick with all communication!
Pros: definitely a beautiful home, location is âsecludedâ and peaceful. Hot tub is clean and accessible. Yard is fenced in. Instructions for everything inside the home. Close to anything you want to do.Cons:Drive to the location not disclosed, but itâs barely qualified as a single lane. At a certain point it turns to dirt/gravel, you need 4wd/awd to get there safely, unless you wanna just bounce around. Once you get to the house, the circle drive is shared with another house, park as close to the rental as possible, one parking âspot.â There are absolutely no curtains/ blinds.. I believe there used to be, but we used a blanket and clips to block our window (right next to the bed)The shower is a little⊠well cold. You can use the heater inside the bathroom, but be careful itâs right next to the washer door. Water will get everywhere if you arenât mindful to what you are doing, use the squeegee provided! Also, the window is not a privacy window. All in all itâs not a bad place, the cons are fixable and an easier to navigate/ prepare for if you are given a heads up. Give them a try.
The tiny home exceeded my expectations. However, I was hoping for a little more privacy and it is on a shared lot with another home. The gravel road is a little steep as you get close to the home but that is to be expected in the mountains. I would imagine that the views are a little better in the winter months. Overall very clean and comfortable. Just what I needed to take a break during a cross country road trip.
We absolutely loved our stay with Ben and Lydia. The tiny home was well appointed, state of the art and so clean. Everything we couldâve needed was provided and of high quality. We loved the sheets and towels provided and are now even considering getting a projector for our home. While it did rain the weekend we visited, it broke enough for us to enjoy the hot tub and porch. The rain just added to the relaxing and cozy vibes we were cultivating for our Babymoon. We hope to consider their place our regular mountain retreat and look forward to future visits!
Well maintained tiny house and you could see the all the care they took of it! My only concerns were 1) the road - there were several signs that read "Please use 4 wheel drive" which I did not have. Very remote mountain road that would have been difficult for me and my SUV to manage should it have rained. Luckily all the rain they had been having held off! 2) the walls were almost all completely glass. Great for looking outside but with no coverings on any of them, I was uncomfortable. Lots and lots of beautiful foliage around but I would have felt better if some sort of window covering was an option. Truly a great place other than those two things. Communication was excellent and always quick responses!
