The host was kind and informative, and gave excellent local recommendations. The property is quaint and peaceful and the fresh farm eggs were wonderful! We adventured 30 min away and rode horses through the National Forest at Saddle Up, enjoyed local meats, cheeses, sandwiches and smoothies at Trout Lily, and found an amazing blues band at the Local Joint. Awesome area and so much to do! Highly recommend!
We loved our stay at the Roundette this past weekend. The location is ideal for a trip to Asheville. It's cozy, has everything you could possibly need and a bed that is so comfortable! We truly enjoyed feeding the horses and goat if we weren't in the hot tub. We plan to return this fall!
My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary during our stay, and Frank, the property owner, went above and beyond to make it special. He generously upgraded us from the Roundette to the house on the hill, which was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The overall experience was perfect. After a day out enjoying Asheville and the surrounding area, the peaceful nights were a welcome and comforting end to each day. We truly appreciated Frankâs kindness and hospitalityâit made our anniversary even more memorable.
Accommodations were relaxing and enjoyable. Frank and Danny were extremely helpful during an emergent condition. The Cove Hobby Farm is a recommended location!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property and cannot wait to visit again! The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, feeding the animals, and relaxing in the quiet. Frank is an absolute GEM of a human being. Truly, Iâve never met a nicer host.
We planned to stay here while we visited Asheville for a long weekend - and we ended up wishing weâd taken a few more days off just to stay at the accommodation! Beautiful views, a communicative host, and the koi pond made this one a great escape.
Very comfortable domicile on a nice, relaxing property. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching the animals in the pasture. Frank is a very welcoming person.
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy roundette. Itâs close to Asheville but you feel tucked away in the country. Hot tub was piping hot which was great and the bed was extremely comfortable.
My daughter and me had a great time during our stay there. My daughter especially enjoyed feeding the animals in the barn every day. The house is clean and with all we needs. The host is very nice to walk through the house and surrounding when we checked in. The location is also very convenient and near to a lot of tourist attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. We really love it!
My stay at My Roundette couldnât have been more perfect! The atmosphere of the bungalow couldnât have been more tranquil and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful property. Couldnât recommend more!
It was a great little house to stay in and overall private . They provide fresh eggs from their chickens and they were great! We loved the animals in the back yard as well . Itâs only 15 mins from downtown Asheville and the nearby restaurants and breweryâs are great !
The property was absolutely beautiful. The flowering plants were in full bloom and the setting was gorgeous. We felt like we had escaped to a quaint, mountain retreat. The owners were knowledgeable and provided great recommendations for places to visit and eat. A couple of highlights included the fresh eggs and a chance to see the horses, chickens, and goats. We will definitely be back!
The round house was a perfect escape for our 30 year anniversary. The owner has thought of everything and created a beautiful space both inside and outside. Love the grounds with decades of quality landscaping and the privacy it afforded. So close to Asheville and yet remote and private. Thank you for everything!
Beautiful setting and a shorter drive to the city than the map suggests. Loved the animals and the outdoor spaces. All the amenities were perfect for a quiet couples getaway. We loved the hot tub and highly recommend booking a massage. Immaculate grocery store nearby for supplies. We loved every minute of our stay. Can't wait to come back and explore Asheville and the surrounding area more from this sweet little home away from home.
Staying at Frank's property was an absolute treat. Upon arrival he was very welcoming and told us all we needed to know about the location and gave us invaluable suggestions on places to go, etc. The property was beautiful, well-kept, and relaxing - we could not have asked for more. This is definitely a fantastic spot for animal lovers. The critters at their hobby farm were a delight to interact with and the eggs were delicious if you decide to stay in for breakfast! I would highly recommend this stay and would definitely book again.
We absolutely loved everything about our stay. Looking for mostly a place to hang out while we experienced Asheville, we were amazed at our time at the house. From staring at the stars in the hot tub each night to a massage inside our house one afternoon, our whole trip was so great.
We are already planning the next trip and will definitely be staying at the Cove at Fairview, if at all possible. They also have other rentals on the property that house more people so we can take the whole family.
The home was very nice and easy to find. Keeps you close to Asheville without being in the city. The property was beautiful and the animals were fun to watch. Frank was awesome upon arrival. He greeted us outside and filled us in on all the things we needed to know and made some great food recommendations. The stay was great. We will be back.
What a slice of heaven. Frank thought of everything. Beautiful property with fresh eggs⊠hungry animals,Koi fish, and a gorgeous Pink Lotus pond!!!We will be back!
A unique and charming base for exploring the Asheville area
Everything is just as pictured -- but it's really something how easy is it to walk to the nearby fence and feed some carrots to the horses, donkeys and goats. Also, really enjoyed meeting Frank and his written dining and activity recommendations for the nearby area were top-notch. It's really just about 20 min to get to Asheville, but you may find yourself sticking closer to this charming vacation home and the grounds with multiple chair swings and koi ponds. Every night ended in our hot tub under the stars -- no regrets!
After retiring from a 33 year career in sales management/ marketing, we visited our oldest daughter Etta and fell in love with Asheville. We moved to the Asheville Area in 2002 and lived in the house that became our first rental, âOur House.â (We built a cabin on the property and moved into it). Soon to follow, came our youngest daughter, Farris, and her now husband Danny. In 2009 their daughter Alyssa arrived and in 2015 Haley was born, making this a true family business.
We fell in love with Asheville and all it has to offer. We then decided to share the beauty of the Asheville Area and the hospitality of the Smokey Mountains with others. âOur Houseâ and âMy Roundetteâ were on the property when we originally bought it. Both have since been remodeled. We then purchased additional land and built âMy Place,â âThe Huntley,â âThe Garden Cabin,â and âHideout.â
The Cove at Fairview is committed to providing safe vacation rentals in a beautiful setting. We have taken several measures to ensure the safety of our guests and our staff. These efforts include the use of disinfecting agents and longer cleaning times. All of the homes have private places to gather, such as porches and decks. Our larger homes feature outdoor fireplaces. We have several stunning outdoor areas. Have a picnic or relax in a hammock at Koi Falls. Koi Falls features gentle waterfalls and two Koi Ponds. Many of our guests enjoy going to the Barn to interact with animals. We also have seating at The Lotus Pond and on Flower Hill. While being very private and close to nature, you are still afforded all of the conveniences of technology such as high speed internet. Kick back, relax, and have a true retreat or a wonderful place to land after an exhausting day of fun (downtown is only 15 minutes away). There are also several breweries and restaurants outside of Asheville, as well many outdoor activities including hiking.
