Always love our stay at this property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Double Dip has become a beloved beach house for my whole family. The deck makes the place with its beautiful view of Provincetown. Each year, there are improvements, like the walls being painted white this year and lots of new artwork on the walls. The prices on the outer Cape are ridiculous, but we haven't been able to find a better deal on 6A with 3 beds and 2 baths.

The location is ideal, the house is clean and well stocked, and while it seems extremely expensive, we have looked around and haven't been able to find anything comparable at a better rate.

Spectacular View and Proximity to the Water

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was great. The cottage is compact, but is has everything you need. You are basically on top of the bay, which is truly unbelievable. Seeing the bird life was magnificent and we even saw a seal! The only drawback was the traffic noise from 6A. It wasn't noticeable from the master bedroom but was from the other two. It might not bother many, but it did bother me. I'm still thinking of renting it again, however.

Exceptional Rental

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting this property for 20+ years and we are as delighted as we have ever been. Three notes though: the property next door (to the left as you are exiting the 392 driveway) has a bush that obscures the fast oncoming traffic to the left -- very dangerous to say the least. Could you persuade the neighbor to trim it drastically to prevent a collision?The sliding door in the living room is difficult to properly lock.Also, the bushes underneath the clothesline in front of the house needs trimming, so one can easily access it.Thanks again for a terrific two weeks,Mike and Sara Pardy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the home we rent each year for a week, right on Cape Cod Bay where I have been vacationing all my life. Being right on the beach is a must for us. The large deck looking out over the water offers amazing views, and the sunsets can be spectacular. We were so pleased with all the interior improvements that had been made this year. While the kitchen could definitely stand to be renovated, it is well stocked and workable. It would be nice to have more comfortable seating options in the living room. There was a problem with one of our checks being lost, which was troubling, but we thought maybe that had to do with Covid and staffing shortages.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just noting again as in previous years that the toilet in the bathroom with the bathtub runs all the time. Also there is not enough silverware etc for a house of 6 guests. Finally, the refigerator door has a rack missing making it hard to store food items.

Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at this property for the past several years, and we have come to love it and hope to return every year. I have been vacationing on Rte. 6A in N. Truro since I was a kid, and this is probably the nicest place I have stayed. The house is ideal for a family with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The deck is large and wonderful with a breathtaking view of Provincetown. The sunsets can't be beat. The house has easy beach access. There are a few things that could be improved in terms of the furnishings, but overall, it's a great rental property!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and the amenities provided made for a wonderful stay. Also, all the personal touches in the home by the owner were very nice and I would have given it 5 stars for every category except when I arrived it appeared the home had not been cleaned very well. Counter tops, sinks, the dining table, stove top as well as microwave interior and exterior were dirty. Hallway and bathroom floors were dirty. When I used the oven in the range the smoke detectors went off due to the buildup. With the items provided and some that I had brought I spent a portion of my full first day cleaning what I could.For over the past 25 years I have not only stayed in beach cottages and homes along Shore Road, but also helped in cleaning them so I do know what to expect and Double Dip fell far short in this area.This is my first time staying in Double Dip and would definitely like to stay there again and I hope my negative comments are taken not as a criticism of the cottage itself, but rather pointing out how important it is to have a clean place to stay, especially with Covid.
