Owner was amazing my second time staying there and we had snow storm hit and she was amazing told us to stay another night if we had to but we was able to shovel the whole driveway and get out will stay there again
This property is a spacious with gorgeous views. It was very clean and the has everything you need in the cabin. The owner was very responsive and friendly.
We loved the cabin. We had 8 adults and each couple had their own bedroom and bathrooms! Everything was very clean and the condo has all the amenities you need. We will definitely look into this cabin again the next time we go to the Smoky Mountains.
We loved our stay here! We went for Thanksgiving week and the decor was so festive. The home is beautiful and cozy. The views are breathtaking. The pictures donât do it justice. Be aware of bears! We saw a couple in the evening near the home. Would definitely stay again!
Nice clean cabin high up in the mountains was ok but rock roads were not expected. The road needs to be improved to asphalt. Location was good for our stay.
Everyone had a wonderful week with the spacious rooms and views! We had a visit from 2 cubs and mamma bear the first evening. Bear Ridge had all the amenities listed, along with plenty of towels and blankets. It was cozy and not far at all from Pigeon Forge attractions.
This was the most beautiful cabin with an amazing view. We had plenty of room for everyone and plenty of things to do. The hot tub was great after a long day of spending time out and about. My only regret is that I cannot live there for the rest of my life.
We came to visit over New Years for a celebration with family and friends. The house was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees and other holiday themed decor. It was warm and cozy and very clean. We stayed with 4 families and every family had their own bedroom and bathroom! The location was perfect to all nearby attractions and the views from the house were just incredible! We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Wendy for such a great place to celebrate a start of a New Year!
Properly was as described. Very clean and BEAUTIFUL VIEWSâ„ïž. WI-FI has issues. I think moving the satellite could easily remedy this. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We really liked the size of this house as well as the privacy. It really is beautiful and I would definitely stay again. The only part of the drive that I didnât care for was going uphill on loose gravel with only enough road for one vehicle at a time so if someone has to back up or down quite a ways and the small crater that is tricky to drive around as you turn onto the street.
Donât get me wrong the location was beautiful and especially without a long drive up a mountain. I didnât try the sauna room but everything else in the house worked perfectly. The guys enjoyed the pool table/bar in the basement. I liked the ease of the timer on the fireplace.
Tennessee is truly Godâs country. The house is beautiful, the views are gorgeous. The only negative is the linens need to be replaced. I understand the water is hard which stains the linens after time but the use black towels instead of white. I also thought there would be kitchen essentials such as coffee, paper towels, toilet paper. There were three rolls of extra toilet paper for eleven people for three days. Also dishwasher detergent two packets for three days and seven people.
All in all the house is a great experience.
The main reason we rented this cabin was handicap accessible with 2 rooms and baths on main floor. One room had handicap shower, but no toilet grab bars.. the other room had toilet grab bars but no handicap shower. On first night, WaterLeak occurred in one of the handicapped rooms. My 87 year old aunt awoke to her chest and bed wet. This required room arrangement that made another handicapped person sleep downstairs.which was quite difficult for her to navigate the stairs. Another leak in kitchen. Requested additional towels to keep the floor dry. Took pics and sent to owner. Owner replied that a roofer would be out next week, but did not reply re towels etc to keep the floors dry. We pushed bed over to prevent water damage to bed. Saw trash, dust, old food underneath bed. Dishes and cabinet pulls dirty. 1 dishrag in kitchen. Back burner on stove did not work. The cabin was beautiful, the scenery and location fantastic. Would stay there again if cleaning issues were addressed Only regret is no response to water leak that left that bedroom unusable for the trip. And caused the other handicap person to navigate dangerously downstairs to sleep due to the water leak. Also had only 1 long stemmed wine glass- which was disappointing. Gas fire place was very nice. Again scenery was wonderful.
We have been going to Pigeon Forge for 35 year. This was one of the best houses weâve stayed at. My family loved this house. So clean. Well stocked. Great Location. The owner was very pleasant. We will definitely stay again.
I currently reside in Sevierville, TN. I am the mother of two grown children and 4 granddaughters. I retired in 2021 from INVISTA in Lugoff, SC where I spent 33+ years working as an engineer in the fibers business. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Chemical Engineering. I am passionate about college football and baseball.
I have been renting property for many years (I have a condo in Hilton Head Island, SC and this house in the Great Smoky Mountains.)
Bear Ridge offers all the amenities that you need to relax and get away from it all. It feels like you are surrounded by nature. However, with that said, it is only 2 miles from the center of Pigeon Forge. It is close to everything without feeling like it is close. There are no cars that pass by the property, as it has a private driveway, so it is quiet and serene.
I wanted a house big enough for my family and friends to enjoy when it is not rented, thus the 4 bedroom house. My friend owns the other 3 larger houses on this mountain and thus this property is very close and allows for large gatherings.
