Awesome Family Vacation

We loved the cabin. Only problem we had a wheelchair bound member and it was not very accessible for her. My suggestion would be to add concrete path around the outside perimeter to accommodate wheelchair accessibility to bottom floor.

Our Family Vacation 2023

Beautiful Log Cabin with incredible views of the Tennessee Mountains! My family had a wonderful week of vacation together this past week! The only thing that could have made it perfect was that my son could have been with us! He was unable to be with us this year! We loved the cabin and our time there! Everything we needed was available to us and the owner was kind enough to have thought of every little detail to make our stay the best! We highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking for the perfect mountain vacation!

The location was great, at the peak of the division, and fairly secluded from the neighbors. The patio outside on the main level faces near east so watching the sunrise among the mountain view was nice. The cabin offers an open concept on the main level surrounded by full view glass when the curtains are open bringing the outside views inside. Furnishing a large kitchen and nice family room, with dining tables both inside and outside made family game time and dinners a memorable experience. All bedrooms have their own full bathroom. The game room downstairs leading out to the lower patio area was nice, the pool table and equipment are in good shape, the furniture outside was clean and taken care of. The hot tub was clean and worked as it should. Communication with the host was good, we would definitely stay here again hands down.

Beautiful cabin

We loved the views from this beautiful cabin and enjoyed our stay with our family. Our only compliant was that it was not handicapped equipped. I should have checked more carefully. It was handicap accessible, but it did not have a handicap bathroom. We adjusted and made it. Thank you for sharing your cabin with our family. We had a much needed get away!

C for cold-the AC worked great! A for action-lots of wildlife activity including black bears. L for location-easy to get to and not too close or too far from adventures. M for memories as many were made with family to always be remembered. Great experience with a great host whom communicates promptly if needed. A minor issue was encountered on our first evening which was corrected within an hours time.

Wedding week

Stayed here with family for my son’s destination wedding in Tennessee. Cabin was perfect. Close to town and spacious, too. Large balcony with an amazing view, pool table and hot tub were also great amenities we used. Beds were comfy. My elderly mom needed a handicap bar to get in and out of shower on the main floor- I should have asked but it made it difficult for her. Also, after a bad storm some water leaked in to one bedroom- luckily nothing of ours was on the floor. Owner was attentive, though. A bonus sighting of the northern nights with a mountain backdrop was the perfect ending to our stay.

I'm a multi-property real estate investor based in California, but Cougar's Cabin is the one I've put my heart into.

I've lived in London and Japan (where I met my husband), have three amazing adult kids, and share the house with two senior cats. One bucket-list item I'm planning: Antarctica in the next couple of years.

I baught this cabin to be the place where families get to be families — together, for a few days, without anyone having to share a bathroom or argue over who gets the master.

There are a lot of cabins in the Smokies. Here's what makes this one a fit for multigen and large-group trips, specifically:

Real privacy for everyone. Four king suites, each with its own ensuite bath AND a private Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. Grandparents don't share a bathroom with teenagers. Parents don't tag-team the shower. Couples within the group get a romantic soak without leaving their suite.

One big table, every meal. The dining table seats 12 — the whole family eats together every night. Plus a 10-seat dining table on the upper deck for sunset dinners with the view.

Built-in entertainment for the kids and the adults. Pool table, darts, Giant Connect 4, popcorn machine, board games, yard games, a hot tub for 5, two fireplaces. No one's bored. No one's stuck on their phone.

A view that does the work. 180° of Smoky Mountain ridges from two covered decks. Coffee in the morning. Hot tub at night. The view is half the reason guests come back.

A host who answers. I respond fast, I keep the cabin in real shape, and I treat every booking like a reunion of people I want to come back. 4.9★ from 186+ stays says it better than I can.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

In-bedroom Jacuzzi tubs. A Smokies signature, and the move that lets couples-within-a-family-trip have a private, romantic soak without leaving the cabin or asking everyone else to clear out.

Two fireplaces — one indoor, one outdoor. Cool morning, snowy afternoon, summer evening — there's always a fire if you want one.

Real space for 12. Not "we technically sleep 12" — actual private suites, four full bathrooms, and a dining room that fits everyone.

Smokies-base location. Close to attractions but tucked back where the cabin feels like its own place. Drive-to access to the National Park, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Sevierville Convention Center.
