Spacious Country Style Home with Gourmet Kitchen, perfect for large groups!
Bring the whole family to this quiet, centralized, cul-de-sac neighborhood, where the extra-large Gourmet Kitchen, extra-large TV, and extra-large gathering space provides you and your group a fun place to be together and build memories!
Our home allows for the feeding and sleeping of a large group with ease! You could even "camp-out" in the back yard if you need more space!
MAINFLOOR:
-Large front room with 3 couches, fireplace, and gaming table.
-TV room with 85" screen TV and large sectional couch.
-Office nook for two, with printer and basic office supplies. This is also where the board games will be kept.
-Kitchen with two tables, extra large island, tons of pantry and cupboard space, and multiple work stations so that 5-6 people can be cooking in the kitchen at the same time. It has two sinks; one for cooking, and one for the dishes! There is enough seating for 25+ people, with extra chairs and folding tables available to cater to even larger groups or outdoor eating!
-Half Bath and mud room.
UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
-Bedroom A: Master bedroom suite with king bed, walk-in closets, crib, private bath, and private TV.
-Bedroom B: Full size bed, bunk bed with full-size mattresses, walk-in closet with laundry facilities.
-Bedroom C: Queen and twin bed.
-Bedroom D: Queen and bunk bed with twin mattresses, and small desk.
-Bathroom: (Shared for rooms B, C, and D) Double sinks and a mirror. Toilet and shower are separated by a door.
-Extra bedding, playpen, and twin-size cots are available for your use at no extra charge!
OUTSIDE:
-Playground swing set and fort, and lots of grass space to run around on.
-Ping Pong and Air Hockey Tables
-Mature fruit trees you can gleam from when in season.
-Front and back porch to sit on, or set tables/chairs up to eat on.
-Coming soon, a pergola to set up hammocks and outdoor patio furniture on.
IN GENERAL:
The home offers lots of space for a large gathering to spread out and feel like everyone has their own space to chat, play games, watch TV, or do crafts and projects. With good weather, we've had over 70 people in the home at one time, without feeling too crowded. Kids, teens, and adults can have their own space from each other as needed.
KITCHEN SUPPLIES:
The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essentials, including serving dishes, silverware, cups, glasses, mugs, plasticware for kids, pots, pans, griddle, large roasting pan, two toasters, two microwaves, blender, beater, mixing bowls, measuring cups, strainers, and basic spices.
TOILETRIES AND LINENS:
We have bathing towels, hand towels, and rags. We have extra linens and blankets. We will even leave a few new toothbrushes and basic toiletry supplies in case you forgot to bring them. We will also supply laundry soap, dishwasher soap, scrubbers, cleaning rags, and basic cleaning supplies.
The laundry room has a full ironing board and iron along with detergent. Oversized AC keeps the home as cool as you like and the gas fireplace adds coziness in the winter.
INTERNET:
We have Comcast Xfinity, with WIFI access and ethernet connections.
PARKING:
The large driveway has 4 spots designated for your use in front of the garage, with additional spots on the street if needed. Our other tenants park on the far-left driveway and on the street in front of the home.
-Main Floor and 2nd Floor of Home.
-Front and back yards, including playground set, shed, ping pong table, air-hockey, and porches.
-4 Parking spots on driveway, and Cul-de-sac street parking in front of the home.
-We are reachable by text, email, or phone call and are not too far from the property.
SMOKING:
This is a Smoke-Free Home, but do have a smoking area located in the back yard under the cabin’s awning, where you’ll find shade, chairs, and a 10-can for cigarette butts.
HOMES ADDITIONAL RENTALS:
The home has two other rentals (above garage and basement); each with their own private entrance. These renters keep to themselves, but you may see them when they walk from their car to their home. They park on the street, and have two spaces on the left side of the driveway. We do ask that you be mindful of excessive noise or running/jumping around on the main floor, since our basement renters have work and school in the morning, Our floors are thick and keep most noise out, but jumping and running generally carry through into the basement. If you can, please remind everyone of the 10pm courtesy quiet hours.
CHECK OUT PROCEDURE:
Check-Out is at 11am. This is your vacation time, and we want you to be able to relax and enjoy your stay with us! In return, we do ask for a few simple check-out tasks to help us prepare the home in time for the next guests, as well as to help us keep our costs down so that we can continue to offer the home at a budget-friendly rate! In preparation for your departure, please do the following:
• Bedding: Help us identify which beds were used by folding your top sheet and comforters halfway down on the beds that were slept in. There is no need to fully strip the sheets off the bed; we will take care of that for you!
• Towels: Place all used towels on the floor of the laundry room.
• Re-Set Furniture Placement: Replace any furniture or beds, that were moved during your stay, to their original location. Be sure to lift the furniture when you move them; don’t drag them across the floor.
• Dishes: Load all dirty dishes into the dishwasher and start a cycle (even if it’s not a full load). Hand-wash any dirty large items, and place them on the drying rack.
• Check Refrigerators and Pantry: Remove food from both fridges and wipe the shelves where food was kept. Feel free to leave any non-perishable food items in our community pantry for the next guests to enjoy!
• Check for Personal Items: Double-check all drawers, closets, under the beds, and the washer/dryer for personal items. Phone chargers, toiletries, and socks are the items most often left behind.
• Reset TVs: Place each TV’s remote back onto the table below the TV. If you used a personal account to log into a TV app (i.e. Netflix, Disney+), be sure to sign out of the app unless you wish to share it with the next guests!
• Garbage: Pick up all garbage in and around the home and place in one of the trash bins located in the home. Please take stinky bags, or bags with food, to the outside bin located by the garage.
• Final Shut-Downs: Turn off lights, and shut and lock all windows and exterior doors. The thermostats will adjust automatically, so there is no need to do anything with them, but be sure the window ACs and fireplaces are turned of.
• Report any broken items: Occasionally things break, please notify us of any broken items during your stay, this way we can make sure the next guest has the same things you enjoyed.
• Text when you’ve left: This will help our staff know if they can get an early start in preparing the home for the next guests. Do you need more time to check out? Or wish to stay a day or more longer at a discount rate? We will be happy to discuss what options we can give you, depending on the planned check-in time of our next guests.
