Escapes 802 1-br condo with awesome indoor pool in Orange Beach

New Owners!! Located in Orange Beach, come see Unit 802 and enjoy what this 1-bedroom condo has to offer. This unit is on the eighth floor of an amazing beachfront complex. This unit DOES NOT HAVE a beach view or balcony, but it does have a window looking towards town. The complex is beachfront so no need to cross the street. Unit 802 can accommodate up to 4 with a king in the bedroom and a full-size Murphy bed in the living room. The kitchenette does have a two-burner cooktop, microwave, fridge, and cooking utensils. NO oven. Both the living room and the bedroom have large flat-screen TVs. Wifi is included with your stay for no charge, but the owner does not guarantee the speed.
The property is considered a low density complex, but has all the amenities of the big guys. Upon arrival to the property, you will stop by the front desk to pay for your parking pass which is $50 per vehicle

Everything was amazing. But the dryer was barely working and it took three rounds to fully dry clothes. Besides that this condo was amazing and I would recommend it.

Wonderful place at a great price

Had a wonderful vacation at Escapes ! Easiest parking and unloading to room we have ever had. Room was amazing ! Very comfortable . The heated pool and hot tub were both very clean. Everything seemed very easy and convenient here. We will stay at this condo again.

Cute place with comfy beds. Small but just enough space. Would be nice to have oven and the cook top was sort of weak. That didn’t bother us at all though. The pools and steam room and sauna are great! I’d stay here again for sure!

Beautiful location and nice room.

We had a great time at the beach as usual. The check-in did not go well. The only way we were able to get into our room was because the door wasn’t completely shut when we arrived. The door code didn’t work so we had to be let in by a security guy each time until we finally heard from owner the next day. We never got our check-in information until day after we came. He said it didn’t send because he was out of town. I did send (6 or more) messages after but still haven’t gotten any response since Tuesday. It’s Friday now. This didn’t really settle our frustration after driving over 6 hours… maybe next time. I hope this helps him deal with situations in future. We love using Vrbo and will do a more thorough review reading next time. Thanks

Thank you for your review. The check in info was sent several days before trip but did not go through. My fault for not double checking. All the info was sent as soon as the communication was received from guest. I spoke with security at complex and had them refund the $50 parking fee to the guest and I covered it myself for the mistake that had been made. I did receive one response from the guest after sending all the information but have never received 6 more messages as they state. Safe travels in the future

My husband, our two young children, and I were cramped. It would be uncomfortable for 2 adults. There also isn’t a door to the bedroom. The window looking towards town is actually a window that looks towards the hallway and on the other side of the hallway is a window that looks towards town. Nothing that was a super big deal, it was just different from what we expected. The kiddie area at the outside pool was perfect. We spent the majority of our “beach days” there. The elevators can be an absolute nightmare. There are only 2 and at the end of the day, 40 people were crammed in the lobby waiting on an elevator. It was so bad, that we wanted to take the 8 flights of stairs, but we couldn’t find them. The cleaning company that cleans the condos does the bare minimum. Knives were in the knife block with food residue and hair on them. My kids found a previous renter’s false lashes in the bathroom. I also find it weird that they don’t want you to strip the beds upon checking out. There is a sign in the room that says contact cleaning crew within 2 hours of check in if there’s a problem. However, we checked in and immediately left the room. We didn’t find the dirty knives until we tried to use them a few days later and I don’t remember when my kids found the lashes.Needless to say, the condo was fine and I’d give it another shot. However, the actual building and cleaning crew made me not want to return to The Escapes.
