Overall good experience. Proximity to beach and amusement park was excellent. Easy walking distance to both. Unit was clean with plenty of space for family of 7. Only issue was dryer that was not heating properly. Pet friendly. We would return.

Great place to stay

Our family loved the place! From the moment we pulled into the driveway, the kids were super excited. We were literally right on the beach. Walk 5 houses down and we were right there. We will recommend this place to friends and family and we will definitely come back!

Initially we had difficulty with our showers, we didnt have enough beach towels, but Fausto was quick to respond and solve our issues. The fans in each bedroom needs to be cleaned! Towels bars need to be fixed! Location next to the beach was excellent! Enjoyed beach chairs and beach volleyball

Beautiful Beqch Home

This home is beautiful, clean, and so close to the beach! Literally right out the door and down 3 houses. We could not have asked for a better spot unless we were right on the water. There was plenty of room for my family, including 2 young kids. We walked to Belmont Park, coffee shops, and restaurants with ease. Parking is included, and the outdoor space was so great for a morning coffee or an afternoon hangout. We would definitely rent this space again!

Great Getaway

We really had a nice relaxing time here. It’s steps from the beach and you can walk to Belmont Park in under 10 min. Some issues we had was that your laundry is not accessible 24/7, because its access is through the driveway where people usually park. It was a little dusty on arrival but nothing serious. I have a jeep and the two spots they have are for smaller cars. Outside of these minor things, this place was a great price, decent bedroom sizes and a nice patio to hang out on.

The location of the property is great, couple minutes away from board walk with a view of the beach from the corner of the second floor patio. This unit is on 2nd and 3rd floor of the building. It is very spacious. However there are few things to note and some improvements that could be made.Walking on the 3rd floor makes a lot of noise to the second floor. The amenities are outdated and worn out (cushions of the couch, cushions of the chairs, the coffee table). Paper towel is provided in the kitchen but not the dish washer detergent, coffee or tea even though there are coffeemaker and keurig. The bed sheets and towels, floors are clean. However, there are spots everywhere in the unit that need detailed cleaning. The washer and dryer are on first floor and shared with the unit downstairs. Unfortunately the dryer didn’t work properly. We ended up having to pack damp clothes in our luggage. Laundry detergent is not offered. The host is responsive to communications and phone calls. The tv in main bedroom upstairs is not connected to cable or antenna or internet. We couldn't use it.

Thanks for staying in our home. We just recently purchased a new dryer so this should no longer be an issue. We don't provide coffee or tea because past guests take it all when they leave or if we leave a limited amount it not enough but we list the items on our amenities so guest can bring their owing desired. Noise from a third floor is unavoidable but I think it depends on the use as this is the first time someone has mentioned this in the past 8 years. We will look into spots but sounds like overall you had a good experience. Thank you!

Graduation!

This property is absolutely stunning and just a 30‑second walk from the beach. It looks newly remodeled and is a real steal for this location. Our stay was perfect—5/5 stars!We did have one hiccup at check‑in because I never received the instructions, but as soon as I called Fausto, he texted them over within a minute. There were a few small discrepancies between the message and the laminated welcome sheet (checkout time, Wi‑Fi password, laundry code), but nothing we couldn’t figure out.I love that he uses white sheets he bleaches between guests; it really made us feel clean and cared for. There were just a couple of stray dead flies and an empty water bottle left behind, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, this was a phenomenal stay, and we’ll happily be back later this summer. Thanks again, Fausto!

The good:- Amazing location, just steps from Mission Beach- Worked fine for the basics and gave us a place to stay near everything we wantedWhat could be better:- The place overall felt a bit tired and really could use a deep clean- A few things were in disrepair (loose towel bars, damaged vents)- The kitchen was missing a lot of basics, which made eating in tough- We were told there would be 8 beach towels but only found 3- The back patio had a camera that felt intrusive and made a constant noise- The front door kept locking itself and once trapped us outside for almost an hour- Parking was too tight for two cars- Showers had the hot and cold reversed- Bathroom light sensors were overly sensitive and would switch on in the middle of the night- Some bedrooms didn’t have smoke or carbon monoxide detectors- Laundry room was dirty and had no basket- WiFi info was incorrect and the connection didn’t always workOverall:- The property has a lot of potential and could be great with some updates and care.- Unfortunately, all the little issues combined to make the stay less enjoyable than we’d hoped.

Glad you enjoyed our home and the location. Both are amazing aspects of the home. Previous gusts sometimes damage the property and there is sometimes not enough time to fix it but the towel racks have been replaced. We clean the property weekly and I walk it at least twice a week to ensure cleanliness. We have all the kitchen fully stocked if something is missing and a guest lets me know we try to get it top them asap. For example the cleaners forgot to leave towels and I sent 10 towels to you same day. We do have a camera off the back for security and the parking is tight like all of the beach area ( we are lucky to have 2 spots ). Electronic doors lock by themselves that's how they work but you just have to re enter the code to open ( this is pretty normal). You were trapped outside because you don't know how to use a code to enter the door I drove out immediately and opened the door for you without any issue :) Carbon monoxide detector are installed through out the house in proper locations ( not supposed to be in bedrooms ) we take safety very seriously. WIFI works perfectly. Hope you have safe future travels.

First, the host failed to respond to messages for over 12 hours. I finally called, left a voicemail and received a call back. Some of the problems we encountered, have previously been mentioned in reviews, but seems as though no repairs have been attempted despite knowing the issues. Towel bar fell off the wall in one of the bathrooms immediately upon our arrival. The water was spraying out of the top of the shower head into the bathroom floor. There’s a safety hazard of someone having stepped on the AC vent on the floor in the dining space and the metal is sticking out (a repair that would take but a few minutes and a few dollars). The dryer does not dry your clothes. There’s a tarp on the roof that’s been there probably for awhile because below where the tarp, in one of the bedrooms there’s significant damage and wood rotting on the bedroom floor. Below that, you’ll notice a patch on the ceiling in the living space below where there’s been a leak and it was patched. All of these things considered, we experienced consistent rain for about 24 hours during our stay. The rain was coming in through the closed windows as if the windows were improperly installed or missing some sort of leak proofing. We had towels laying all on the floor, in the kitchen, in the bathrooms. Along with our drying clothes from the non-functioning dryer. When the owner did come to replace the rusted BBQ/grill, he failed to bring extra towels like we asked. We will be requesting our money back.

Great location and home!

I will start by saying that the location and the home itself is great. That being said, there were some negatives to my stay. First off, when we arrived at 4:05pm, the cleaning crew was still there and parked in the designated space. We had to park to the side and wait. We were able to go inside at 4:45pm. It was obvious that the cleaning crew quickly did what they could and the house and deck were not clean. The deck furniture was so dirty I had to put towels on the seats to feel comfortable sitting on them. There was food in the refrigerator, pretzel and half eaten donut under the couch, sand on the couches & dirty sheets in the hallway. I let the host know and he offered to send the crew back, but we were settled in and having them back would further interrupt our stay, so I declined. He offered to send them back during the week and I gave him a day that would work for us, but I never heard back. An apology was never offered. The gas tanks were empty so we had to get it filled ourselves and we were informed we would be refunded via VRBO after approximately 20 days. There are very limited pots and pans which made it difficult for us since we cooked most of our meals. If you eat out, you will not be affected. We never found an outdoor shower. We only found and used the water faucet by the main stairs.The rooms and beds were comfortable. Overall, the stay was good. In my opinion, the house has the potential of being great if they would show the house a little bit more love.

Hi Pily, Thank you for your feedback and yes you are right the cleaners did take a little longer than usual but per their explanation you asked them to leave before they could finish. I asked them to return but you declined the offer. I did apologies and so did the cleaners when you were there but this was not intentional. The gas tanks are sometimes empty and we can refill them but it's often easier for guests to take them 1 block away to get refilled and I always offer reimbursement. I will look into the pots and pans and stock it back up if necessary. There is no outdoor shower but there is hose spigot. Glad you enjoyed the beds and bedrooms and sorry again for the cleaners being a little late on completing the cleaning. Thank you, Fausto
