My Birthday Tennessee Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was absolutely adorable, clean, comfy and cozy. The main thing, I felt could have been better, is the back porch had no cover so it stayed wet the entire time . So we couldn’t sit out back and enjoy it . I would highly recommend putting a covering over it from the grill to the hot tub area . Because no one wants to cook on a grill in the rain, or go to the hot tub. In the rain or snow . Just my personal opinion. But other than that it was absolutely amazing!

It was clean and in a great area not too far but just far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg. Only quibble is the description lists the main bed as a queen, but it's smaller than the bunk bed mattresses which are also listed as queen. Other than that, would definitely recommend this cabin to small families!

They absolutely loved the pool table and the hot tub was amazing and a hit for the hubby! Location was amazing, out of the hustle and bustle of it all and only about 25 min to everything, no matter if you wanted to go to Pigion Forge or Gatlinburg, many days we went to both!! We stayed the last week of March and it was the perfect time, it was not to crowed any where we went and never waited! The cabin was clean, well stocked with all kitchen items we needed to make breakfast!! It is bright and the couches are comfy!! I would definitely recommend staying here! We will be back again!

This was our first time using this company and the communication was great and helpful in answering questions and concerns. The lock on the door was a task to conquer but we got it (smile).The location was less than 5-7 minutes from ("downtown") entertainment and restaurants. If you're looking for a mountain veiw while sitting on the porch this cabin doesn't offer that view but the location everything else about the cabin made it a great stay. We'll be back next year!!

The inside of the refrigerator had a spill in it, so it was dirty. Front of kitchen cabinets were dirty. The spa tub jets were so full of visible mold that it was not useable. The dust on the furniture and some of the doors and baseboards was heavy. Top of lamps were so dusty. I hate to stay somewhere that’s not as clean or cleaner than my home.

Reviewer Comments: The check in process was slightly difficult due to not have door code prior to arrival or being notified that you would need cell service or internet to access link for door code. Had to leave property and get service. I would recommend notifying guest to access code prior to arrival on site.The cabin was not that clean. I saw dust on out of normal trafficked areas such as wood etc. the tub in the master bedroom had red algae stains around jets. I did not want to get into it. Also around the exterior of the cabin, general trash was present. I saw a granola bar wrapper present in grass by parking area and plastic water bottle off back deck area. I could also see trash in woods around the exterior of the cabin. I would recommend cleaning trash out of area around cabin. I also noticed this around other cabins which could be viewed from my cabin exterior. At this price point, I would recommend improving these features and consider updating the property furnishings. We stayed in this cabin in 2008 and everything(bed, tub, etc) was all the same and starting to be in need of replacing.

Also a carpet needs to be put down under the pool table due to pool balls falling out of the pockets. When staying for a week, more towels should be available as well as more “starter” materials ie. toilet paper and paper towels. Also, there was a lot of dust (especially under the beds and shelf in upstairs bedrooms) and light bulbs burned out. The bunk beds were also unstable with a huge crack in the middle. The pillows also need to be replaced. They were disgusting...yellow sweat stains and drool stains from previous boarders. They are well beyond flat and uncomfortable.

The only reasons for not getting a 5 star was that there were no pots to cook with and the gas grill doesn't work properly. It only has a small yellow flame that heats the front of the grill. I'm sure the element inside can be replaced and it function to cook normally. Everything else was on point.
