This stunning 5 bedroom/5 ensuite FULL bath Galena Territory resort home has a large screen porch and deck. This home is designed to accommodate ten guests in beds. Two additional guests are allowed, but there is no sofa sleeper.

Welcome to our luxury open-concept resort home in the Galena Territory - one of the area's largest expanded Miner's Cottages. We just finished a complete renovation of this home, so everything is fresh and immaculate, and the house is pet-free.

Our home is on a beautiful, sunny, and attractively designed wooded lot. It is situated down from the street level and parking area, giving you the feeling of privacy you seek without feeling isolated.

There is a large lighted driveway with a parking area big enough for your cars and a set of lighted concrete steps with a railing from the parking area to the home. The entire stairway spans over 50 feet, so this home may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues or a desire to have a short walk from the car to the house's front door. We have prompt and effective snow removal during the winter.

Our home has plenty of room inside and outside to relax, socialize and play. There are two separate living areas – one upstairs and another downstairs, each with a wood-burning fireplace - and a spacious screen porch and rear deck for playing, sitting, eating, and grilling. There is a pool table and television in the lower level living area. We have a large fire table (firepit alternative) on the rear deck. We do not have a hot tub.

The foyer and great room's high vaulted ceilings welcome you into a bright and airy space. Enjoy the view from the great room's wraparound windows. The wood-burning fireplace between the windows creates a magical effect. There is also a half bath nearby. The great room has a television and DVD player. Of course, you are welcome to use our firewood.

Our kitchen and dining areas are big enough to prepare and serve a meal to a crowd. The dining table seats 10 guests, and three additional stools are at the counter. There is access to the screen porch and the exterior deck from the dining area.

Each of our five bedrooms has its own full ensuite bath. The generous primary bedroom, which is on the main level and has a large private balcony, has a king bed. The primary bath features a whirlpool tub and a shower. On the lower level, there are 4 bedrooms with a living room in between. The living room has comfortable chairs and a pool table. There is no sofa sleeper at this home.

Other features in our home include a large outdoor grill with propane, dedicated wireless internet, and a work desk built into the kitchen.

Your rental includes free access to the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness center, gymnasium, game room, business center, and tennis courts at the Galena Territory Owners' Club. The Territory also offers a hiking trail system and Lake Galena, where you can rent a pontoon boat, fishing boat, or kayak. No swimming is allowed at the lake, but the fishing is spectacular.

Our home is also near horseback riding and trail rides at the Shenandoah Riding Center, zip lines, wineries, golf courses, and restaurants. However, these activities require an extra cost.
