This house was perfect for our family of five. The space was clean and comfortable with direct access to the beach and ocean. The house had everything needed, with a kitchen well stocked with pots & pans, utensils and plates to comfortable linens and bath towels. Our host was amazing and thoughtful. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Family Vacation

Everything about our stay was absolutely great. The house was exactly what we were hoping for. Beautiful home, amenities were excellent, view was fantastic and the access to the beach couldn’t have been better. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to have a wonderful easy vacation.

Great stay

The house is directly on the beach, which was exactly what we wanted. My three teenagers, wife, and I were on a family trip. The photos show reality perfectly. The house is in great condition. Would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

What a GREAT location and home and HOST! The kitchen is perfect for a group and well-stocked. Each bedroom was comfortable and had a view of the ocean. The towels were fabulous and her restaurant recommendations spot on. The beach was much less crowded than the Florida panhandle and had a family friendly atmosphere. We hope to come back and rent again next summer!

This house is a dream. It’s immaculate, has beautiful views, and the location can’t be beat. Everything about it is perfect!! We brought my 74-year-old mom who has Multiple Sclerosis and uses a walker, and it has been a decade since she’s been able to enjoy ocean views like this. The covered porch next to the sand (and sturdy walkway) was perfect for her to be able to fully enjoy the ocean (her happy place!) safely. It was such a gift to see her so happy there.There were puzzles and games that my kids enjoyed, and the kitchen was a dream to cook in! The views from every room in the home were breathtaking. I also loved how dog friendly it was. There’s a basket of dog toys that my Golden loved to carry around in his mouth, a dog bed, and bowls for water and food. The potty area was perfect for them. This was easily one of our favorite and most memorable family vacations ever, and the home is really what made it so special. My family LOVES the beach, and this beautiful home puts it at your doorstep. We will remember this house forever, and hope to stay here again. Julie was also a wonderful host. 10/10!!!!!!

Family Visit

Probably the best VRBO experience I have had to date!. House and location were amazing! Julie and Rita were such gracious hosts and had the place perfect when we arrived. We have already decided that we will be back again next year. I had never stayed at North Topsail prior to this trip. It is a perfect location!

This home is beautifully decorated and you walk right out to the sand. We enjoyed the covered porch that was basically on the beach. We say in the shade and enjoyed watching our grandsons play in the ocean. Their Great grandmother even could enjoy the beach by using the shaded porch. No crowds. Owner was very easy to reach. We plan to return in the future. Great for families who want a laid back vacation spot away from all the craziness of other beach towns. This house is also close to a fishing pier that appears to be open 24/7. Every bedroom has a balcony.

Our stay at Bubbie’s Beach House was incredible. You cannot ask for a better location. Walk right out of the house onto the beach. Eat lunch on the deck- no hauling kids to and from the beach. Coffee while standing in the ocean. The house is well decorated. The layout was perfect for us. We usually stay on 30A in Florida, and we wanted a low key beach stay this year- and that’s exactly what we found. It often times felt like we were the only people on the beach in the middle of July. Please note the house is very pet friendly, so should you have a dog allergy, it might be an issue- but we love pets, and although we didn’t bring ours, it would be a lovely home for your sweet pup.

First of all - Julie is one of the nicest, most thoughtful hosts! From having doggie supplies available to leaving us a welcoming card on the counter - she was readily available without being over-bearing. Bonus - checkout process is simply taking out our stuff, food, and trash. It was great to just do the obvious instead of a long list of things like I've had at other properties.Now on to the property - the location is GREAT! Since it's north of Topsail proper, you don't get into beach traffic because you turn long before the crowding begins. There is traffic before the bridge, mostly because of the main 4-way and slow traffic light - but this is only a problem if you're arriving Sat around 2-3pm or leaving Sat morning around 10am. We didn't check-in/ out on a Sat so no problems for us! And - very few people on the beach because the public parking is over a mile south (west) of the house and there's no hotels, and the land only allows for housing on the beach side and maybe one house across the two-lane road, on the sound side. In Topsail proper there are homes extending several blocks away from the beach and multiple hotels - so lots of traffic and then crowds on the beach.And the house - all new, and the kitchen has excellent appliances and plenty of countertop space, open kitchen-living room design so my sons were able to play video games and watch movies while I got dinner together. The decking is nice and large - and we loved the porch swing! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, extremely clean, and had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was perfect, and we loved that the beach wasn’t crowded at all—it made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. Julie was wonderful and incredibly easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend this home and would love to stay here again!

The house is incredible, and the hosts were so hospitable. There was a small issue that Julie called to let us know beforehand and offered if we wanted to cancel and be refunded. It didn’t matter to our party, but she and Rita still got us a workaround. We were thankful for the transparency and the kindness. The house has everything you’ll need, amazing views from every room, plenty of parking, truly is dog-welcoming, and the outdoor space is wonderful. We’re looking forward to returning!

This home is amazing!! The layout is thoughtfully designed and it is so beautifully decorated with every amenity inside and out. The beach location is literally right outside the back door and every room has the most exquisite ocean view. We have stayed in so many locations over the years, and I have to say that this home beats all of them! While we loved all aspects of the home, our absolute favorite was the swing overlooking the beach and ocean. I could’ve stayed right there forever. What a magnificent addition that all homes should have I believe! Julie, our host, couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. She’s an amazing lady! Do not pass this home up if you ever have the chance to stay here. So peaceful and family friendly yet just a short trip to activities if you so desire. Thank you Julie for an amazing home, being so good to us, and I hope we can come back!
