Modern 2BR Loft w/ Pool + Balcony in Heart of SoCo
At this bright 2BR loft just off South Congress, guests can walk to shops, bars, and food trucks then cool off by the pool or kick back on the balcony. With two full bathrooms, itâs easy to share, and the open layout gives everyone space to relax. Whether youâre in town for music, meetings, or a little of both, this spot makes it easy to enjoy Austin and come home happy.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The unit is located on S Congress St. with access to great restaurants, downtown, an HEB grocery and easy access to the hwy. However, there were several issues.The written instructions for checking into the unit were misleading and difficult to navigate. Be aware the leading image on the VRBO page is misleading and in no way represents this unit's view or placement within the complex. The photos of the interior are accurate. The kitchen had no drinking glasses and only 2 coffee cups. The price point for its location is fairly priced and with some adjustments to the aforementioned issues is a great place to base yourself for exploring Austin.
My stay was extremely disappointing and poorly managed.Upon arrival, the property had not been cleaned for nearly 24 hours after check-in, with dirty towels and bedding still present and dirty common area. Mistakes can happen, but what followed made the situation much worse. We were relocated to another stay within the same place, only to be locked out the next morning without any prior notice, while the original unit remained uncleaned. With no timely resolution, I had no choice but to secure a hotel.The host confirmed that I would be reimbursed for the unused nights, yet over a month later there has been no payment or communication from the host regarding this matter. This was, by far, the most frustrating and poorly handled hosting experience Iâve encountered. I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere.
