The cozy cottage was immaculate! Every single room is thoughtfully styled and comfortable to stay in. The built in fireplace warmed the space on a cool night and our family of five fit comfortably on the couch and in the recliner for a movie night. Although we didn’t cook in, the kitchen was well stocked; the neighborhood was quiet and safe, sweet place!

This house was perfect for what we needed - plenty of room, with 3 full bathrooms.Everything seemed like it was brand new and the beds were so comfortable, we didn't want to leave.The owners were extremely responsive and helpful. The space was cozy and comfortable and we look forward to staying there again. Highly recommend!

We had the best stay at this property. Host was super responsive. House was immaculate, beds were comfy and showers were amazing. Three full baths helped us all get ready for all the activities of a wedding weekend. Centrally located for all your Baltimore activities. Highly recommend.

We stayed in this beautiful and very comfortable house with family ( 7 adults and 1 baby) for 8 nights. The location is an excellent base to be able to easily get into Baltimore and surrounding areas. The home is beautifully decorated and the living area and the bedrooms are all very comfortable. We will choose this lovely home if it is available the next time we are up this way. Thank you Pete and Maura for being really wonderful hosts!

We had an amazing time! The house is very well distributed and the beds are very comfortable! I would say that 12 guests is up to interpretation. There are 2 kings, 2 full (one being the bottom of a bunk bed), 1 twin (top of bunk bed), and then a queen-sized pullout couch. You technically could fit 12 people, but the comfort is subjective.

I gave 1 stars for ratings because I couldn't actually stay at this property. I was on my way to Baltimore for my only daughter’s wedding (7 hr drive) and contacted the host for how to get into this house. I was told it was double booked, someone was already in there and it was unavailable, and although they felt awful, it wasn’t their fault. So we never stayed in this house, despite paying for it in full in May for an October stay. Ultimately, they did have another house for us (3 bedroom, 1 bath instead of what we booked which was 4 bedroom, 3 baths for 8 people). They did give me a good discount and got my money refunded from VRBO, but the biggest issue I had was their attitude. There was virtually no sympathy for the fact of the enormous stress this put on me and my family, including my 93 and 89 year old father and mother in-law. The house we were in was much smaller, less workable with bathrooms, and too small for 8 people. We adjusted but the attitude of the hosts was 1) we should be happy with the ‘big discount’ I got, and they gave me the breakdown of how much we were saving. 2) constantly saying it was not their fault, they had no knowledge that this had occurred and they were going to lose some money on this. And 3) that I should have realized that they didn’t know we had booked it because we did not receive communication from them when we booked (5 months before) or any other communications, except for all the communications we received from VRBO. We obviously felt the need to respond to this extremely inaccurate review and provide our side of the story. First and foremost - it is absolutely disheartening to hear that Carol thinks that we did not have sympathy for this situation and said that they should be happy for the credit that they were given. Wish could send messages where we repeatedly apologize for the situation and called out the credit amount so that they were aware of exactly the refund they were given as Vrbo could not process it themselves. Heck we even went over to Crumble cookies and had them sent to them as a small token of our sympathy for the situation. Secondly - the root cause of this issue was system glitch related to another website, where our calendars were not connected for several hours during the time of this reservation was made. This has been resolved and will not be an issue going forward we are told. Thirdly - we always communicate with our guest several days leading up to their arrival to ensure that they have our check-in instructions and know their time of arrival. This did not happen in this case. This again proves the point that we were completely unaware of this situation until the guest reached out several hours before their arrival. This is when we urge the guest in the future to reach out several times to a host to ensure that everything is good to go for their stay proactively as opposed to some system, automated message from the hosting platform. Lastly - while the situation was unfortunate, it is important for any future guest of ours to read all of the other reviews that have been given about this place and know that this was a complete anomaly of our hosting ability and the quality of our properties. Unfortunately, it just seems that Carroll was unable to forgive us in this instance despite our various attempts….
