If you need a large home, this is it! Massive amounts of space to accommodate everyone. The indoor pool and hot tub were our favorite after a long day of skiing. Laura was also a very responsive and gracious host. Would definitely stay here again.

It was cold outside and both were clean and toasty!!We are a family of 20, and there was enough room to sleep, and enough private areas so you could easily have some quiet time. What really surprised me was the amount of acreage behind the house with hiking and a babbling creek!!! I am still in a state of Bliss!!

Family and friends ski vacation

Spent a wonderful weekend and enjoyed all the amenities offered at Elk Estate Manor. Skiing was nearby and easy access. Laura (owner) was great to work with and very responsive to all text messages. We will definitely be booking another trip here.

The property is awesome, especially the indoor pool (we had a rainy weekend) and the patio and expansive yard. The kids liked checking out the creek. We never had to leave.

The property was sufficient for our family of 24. The indoor pool was a tremendous plus since it rained during most of our stay. This was the first time we rented a house that had an indoor pool.

This property was a little piece of heaven and was absolutely perfect for our holiday weekend, hosting family and friends, as well as a catered event!Plenty of gathering space to be all together and plenty of individual space if you needed your own. Awesome Venue

Had 22 friends take a trip out to play a few rounds of golf in PA. The house was amazing and very clean. The grounds allow for plenty of outdoor activities. The pool room gave us something to do when the weather did not cooperate. At check in someone showed us around the whole place. Would stay again!

An Awesome Thanksgiving

We love the Elk Mountain Manor! Our family,of 23, celebrated Thanksgiving in this home. We had old try of space for everyone to be together or “go do their own thing”. The pool/hot tub was the highlight -kept the kids & teens entertained each day. The adults loved it too. Has a beautiful Thanksgiving meal all seated in the same room at one very long table! The home was clean, well stocked and the hosts were amazing and kind!

Magical Castle

OK, it wasn't a castle, but it was spacious with beautiful landscaped grounds and two tower bedrooms. Usually large homes have many things wrong with them, but not this house, most things really worked. The kitchen was well equipped, the extra restaurant sized frig in the garage was great. The indoor pool was amazing; so clean you slipped on the bottom. The ventilation was better than most indoor pools in hotels. Impressive craftmanship. We had an awesome time all week.

I'm almost sad to give this 5* - because it will make it harder to get in the future! Laura was lovely. There were some issues (a pump broke), but she was working on it immediately and got it fixed as soon as possible. The grounds are lovely, and we loved the pool. There does have to be a lot of room-sharing - but, really, with 20+ people, that is only to be expected. We booked our return trip before we even left!

Great Family Weekend

House is big, clean, and well equipped. We were a group of 22 for my sons college graduation in May 2019-18 adults 4 kids and there was plenty of room. My only complaint is that there is only 1 king bed- the rest are doubles and twins which makes it difficult to sleep couples. The futons were great and we actually found those more comfortable than the beds. My suggestion is that you bring your own towels-they do supple them however there is only 1 towel per person and they are not very big. Over all is was a great house- Cassie was great at answering any questions and a fabulous time was had by all. I would definitely recommend it!

Great family stay

Spent a couple fun days with a family group. There were 10 of us in three families which worked perfectly. The house is set up in three groupings of bedrooms with their own full bath, plus one additional bedroom on the opposite side of the indoor pool which we did not need/use. There was one accessible bedroom with full bath on the first floor which was important to our group. Younger kids need a high degree of supervision due to the indoor pool (cannot lock out access), multiple spiral staircases, some stairs with no hand rails, and a 4ft+ drop off a patio (retaining wall) with no railing. Kids especially enjoyed the pool, open space, and the creek behind the house. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough for multiple people to work simultaneously. Basketball hoop, fire pits, outdoor dining and lounge areas, game room, TVs... lots to keep us entertained, plus hiking nearby. Overall a great stay!

Gathering in Grandmas honor

Words can not explain my weekend. The pictures that are online for this home does it no justice AT ALL. Cassie the home keeper i called her was as pleasant and very accessible when needed. Everything was clean and ready for my family. We all wished we would have stayed longer. Laura your home is amazing and we appreciate you sharing it with us. We would love to make this home our annual Gathering in Grandmas honor home. Although we brought toiletries, towels and sheets there was definitely enough for us to use. Getting to the manor was a tad bit tricky some made it with the Gps and some needed us to come and get them because the cell service out there was not the best but had nothing to do with the house. As the host i would have loved to have gotten in early to set up for my family because i had an itinerary but i move quick so i just made them sit in the care until i finished (lol) Thank you Thank you Thank you

Fun family time together!

My husband and I rented this spectacular home to spend some quality time together with our children and grandchildren....and that we did! We all thoroughly enjoyed our time splashing around in the amazing indoor pool from morning til night! We were able to have tons of fun and photo ops between the hot tub and generous size pool. There were pool toys for the kids and plenty of comfortable seating for all. The pool was well maintained and the temp was perfect. The large deck off the back adjacent to the backyard was another haven. The kids set up the net and played badminton, there was bacci going on while others played a yard game they brought and there was enough space to even set up the soccer net that they had brought! They explored the area along the creek and then visited with the horses in the coral nearby! More photo ops! The living spaces inside totally accommodated our large family. We barely used them all! We love to cook and were thrilled to find the kitchen well stocked with equipment to use not only for the kitchen but also for the grill. The extra fridge was also put to good use. The dining area was also perfect for game time! Games were going on in both the kitchen and the dining room while our granddaughters watched the women's soccer team on the tv adjacent to the kitchen. We were all together but not on top of each other. The check-in included a personal tour which made us feel so at home right from the start. All was perfect!

Clean, spacious estate

My husband & I take 3 of our daughters, their husbands & children each year to spend a week together in a vacation home. We are 8 adults and 11 children. The bedroom "quads" worked so well for us as each family had their own sleeping space. The home is truly beautiful and expansive. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and provided ample space to eat together. The grounds are gorgeous and we spent many hours exploring at the stream. This spot became a favorite for our nature loving grandchildren! We watched as polo ponies and their riders practiced in the large field behind the home and saw a wedding in the field of the other rental home on this property. The grandkids called this property "magical" and all adults agree! Shopping was about 15 miles away and was an easy drive and there were plenty of restaurants, although we had every meal at the manor. I also must add the outdoor patios offered plenty of seating and dining spaces. The fire pit was enjoyed most every night as we marveled at the abundance of stars in the night sky.
