We pride ourselves on making your stay relaxing and that means giving you two of what makes life easier so you can spend less time doing dishes and laundry and more time making memories with your family.
Recharge and refresh at Mickey's Sunny Mansion – your home away from home!
Our house is about 7 minutes away from Disney and we have a total of seven bedrooms. Two of the rooms are King ensuites with private bathrooms. Three of the rooms have queen beds and the two kid rooms can sleep three because each has a twin bed and a twin bunk bed.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make a great meal (except the food of course). In addition there is a living area, sitting room, dining room and a game room with 2 arcade games, a pool table and an air hockey table.
Our favorite spot in the house is the patio and pool area. We have a huge outdoor dining table that seats 12, lounge chairs and a sitting area. There is also a grill that is free to use and the pool/spa can be heated for a small fee. The patio is significantly larger than most in the Kissimmee / Orlando area so you can have family members relaxing on the couch in the shade while others sunbathe in the lounges and still others are enjoying the pool and hot tub all at the same time!
An even more impressive perk of this space is that the house doesn't have neighbors behind it. The patio and pool area looks out onto views of a lush conservation area! The pool and patio are the main reason our guests come back again and again and we know you'll love it as much as they do.
If you have kids, you'll be thrilled to know that the house is only nine houses away from one of the two playgrounds that the community offers. It’s a perfect walk for you and your kids.
Let's talk parking. There are two spots available for you to use in the driveway plus there is on street parking on one side of the road. The resort charges $20 per vehicle for the pass that allows you to enter the resort for the entirety of your stay.
One other thing that I want to mention, because I think it sets this house apart from others, is that we are always updating and improving. A few of our recent updates include a new bubbler for the hot tub, railings to get in and out of the hot tub and pool, updated air conditioner, the master bedroom has been painted and one of the upstairs bathrooms was just remodeled.

My wife Kristi and I have three kids and we all love Disney World! We love the rides, the food, the atmosphere and spending quality time together. We started Mickey's Sunny Mansion so we could spend more time in Florida and to give other families a wonderful family friendly house to enjoy.
We care about our house and we care about your experience and I think that sets us apart. We also have more hooks to hang towels than any house I've ever rented!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
Emerald Island is a gated community just a few miles from Disney. Although you are very close to all of the excitement, you will never know it while relaxing inside Emerald Island. The resort includes two community pools, a tiki bar, two playgrounds, mini golf, and an exercise room. There is also an outdoor sand volleyball court, tennis courts, and nature trails to enjoy. During your stay at Mickey's Sunny Mansion you'll be able to take advantage of all of these amenities.
Emerald Island is very close to Disney. It is officially located in Kissimmee although Four Corners is a more accurate description of its location. As you may know, Four Corners, Kissimmee and Davenport are all closer to Disney than Orlando and therefore are wonderful choices for your home away from home. You will find hundreds of gated and non-gated communities in this area with rental homes like Mickey's Sunny Mansion including Windsor Hills, Margarita Ville, Champions Gate, and many many more. However, none of the other options have the amazing charm of Emerald Island.
Being in Emerald Island is also a huge plus because this gated community has quiet hours so you don’t have to worry about your next door neighbors blaring music that keeps your kids up all night. This is especially wonderful when you are heading to a theme park early the next morning and you want everyone to get a good night’s sleep.

Many rental homes have pools, but compare the huge patio around our large pool to other houses and you’ll see that our house has significantly more space than most. You’ll have plenty of room to eat and relax outside with your family in our beautiful pool oasis. Also, much of it is covered so you can even enjoy the outside during a Florida rain storm and you'll be shaded on a sunny day.
The best thing about our pool area is the beautiful view. When you look at our pool you’ll see nothing but trees behind it. Most other rentals have nothing but other rental houses behind them and trust us when we say this small difference will make a huge impact on your ability to relax.
In addition to the great view, the patio is great because your whole family can eat together at the table for 12 (and did we mention that there are two dishwashers for all of the dishes from your wonderful family meals).
Most rental homes charge a lot of extra fees. We don't like this idea and don't charge many extras, for example we don't charge for the use of the grill, strollers, pack n' play etc. However, we do charge for pool/spa heat because FL electric is very pricy. The way it works is you have to do your whole trip or none of it, aka no partial stays and since the pool and spa use the same heater you have to do both or neither. The cost for pool/spa heat is $22 a day and we'll reach out to you about it when we get close to your stay so you don't have to decide right now. We do always suggest getting the pool/spa heat if you are staying during the cooler months as the pool can get pretty chilly.
The other thing that you will be charged for is vehicle passes. The resort charges $20 and you will need one pass for each vehicle that you bring. We'll reach out to you slightly before your stay to get that all set up and then you will just pay for it at the clubhouse when you pick up your card.
