The proximity to grandfather mountain was ideal. I loved that you could hear the rush of water over rocks from the stream behind the property. Rental staff was timely and efficient in answering any questions I had

The condo is small, but cozy. It is well appointed and was fairly clean. We did notice when we pulled out the sofa, that it had not been cleaned underneath in a while. Crumbs, dust, bunnies, etc., underneath. The only other thing that could’ve been considered a negative was Some missing Len‘s. We were short a bath set and a pillowcase. However, we were able to make do.The parking appears to be first come first park and is tight. We we’re never without a parking spot, but there were a couple of times we had to park on the other end and it was tight.The location is phenomenal. Close to Sugar Mountain ski Lodge, downtown Banner Elk, Grandfather Mtn., and easy access to Boone/Blowing Rock.The deck was absolutely lovely. It hovers what appears to be 3-4 stories above a creek. It appears that way because it’s on a hill , overlooking a serene and picturesque forest. Listening to the flowing water while having morning coffee and seen the sun peak through the leaves was immensely refreshing.The kitchen was well appointed, and though we did not need the laundry or dishwasher, it was nice to know they were there.The kids slept on the queen in the bedroom. The foldout sofa was comfortable enough and with the deck screen door left open just a bit for cool mountain air, the glow and heat from the electric fireplace, made getting to sleep after a long day, very easy. We would definitely stay here again.
