Hinterland Haus is an A frame cabin in Breckenridge that blends modern comfort with mountain charm. It is situated on a wooded acre with a meandering creek and is host to an abundance of wildlife - including moose and bald eagles!
Renovated in 2024 with the goal of creating more than just a vacation rental, we've carefully designed every detail to ensure Hinterland Haus feels like a true home away from homeâfor our family, friends, and yours! Whether youâre here to relax, explore, or simply enjoy quality time together, weâve optimized every corner for the ultimate getaway experience.
Situated along the Blue River is our small, secluded community, located just 5 minutes from historic downtown Breckenridge and its world class ski resort. While immersing yourself in nature, enjoy a host of amenities in this newly renovated A frame. Just a few of the amenities are listed below:
~2 bedrooms each with queen beds (memory foam mattresses)
~1 queen sofa bed (memory foam mattress)
~1 pack & play crib
~1 twin blow up mattress
~1 bathroom with a shower and bathtub
~6 person hot tub
~Traditional, custom built wood-burning sauna
~Fully stocked kitchen for everything from casual family dinners to holiday feasts

My name is Katie and my husband is Billy - together we own and manage Hinterland Haus. We live in Denver with our daughter and dog and love spending time in the mountains trail running, cycling, backpacking, hiking, and skiing! We love sharing our family cabin with others, knowing that these memories can last a lifetime.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We chose this neighborhood because its a charming, small town community that offers peace and solitude while still only being a 5 minute drive from downtown Breckenridge, which offers tons of nightlife and energy. Its the best of both worlds. Also, within a 45 minute drive, you can get to 5 world class ski resorts, hundreds of epic hiking trails, and tons world class fly fishing and mountain biking spots!
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
Its a traditional A frame cabin that provides the perfect blend of classic Colorado charm with modern amenities. Walking into the front door you will notice the high ceiling which brings in an abundance of natural light, the lofted bedroom that looks down over the spacious living room, and updated kitchen that has all one needs for making a fancy feast. Hanging out on the front deck, you won't see any other homes, rather you'll be embraced by the wooded forest, hear the meandering creek, and possibly get the chance to view natural wildlife (moose, foxes, eagles). Just off the deck you will be greeted with a private 6 person hot tub and if you're feeling up to it, you can indulge in our private, traditional, wood burning sauna. The cabin has all the features that one will want to get the most out of their stay.
