Brooklyn Wedding

This property was just what we needed for the 6 of us (all adults). We appreciated the excellent AC, wide open space, room for all 6 to sleep comfortably, and quieter neighborhood. Communication with the host was fantastic.

Cozy and comfort

The property is at a different location than the listed address. But the location was good, stores and supermarket was close by. The property is really nice and well kept. The amenities all are updated and beautifully put together. My overall stay was really good the place served its purpose. The Host Sean communication was good and helpful.Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Picked this one to save some money for a couple of our travelers….in and out was way easy, started to get comfortable getting around. We ran the Brooklyn half marathon so after doing Manhattan a bunch we anted to check things out on this side of the river.

Brooklyn Duplex

The unit was in a multi-unit dwelling, but we didn’t have any interaction with other units/residents. Unit was clean and “as advertised.” I would have like if there were some window treatments in the living/dining room, but overall… it was really a great decision to rent this space for our family trip to NY!

New York Adventure

Property was clean and well stocked with towels, but it needs some updating (new paint; it’s showing wear and tear). There is also a strong pot spell in the entry hall, which thankfully does not permeate into the unit. We did not receive check-in instructions ahead of time, but the property manager responded immediately when contacted and the directions were very easy to follow. Walk to subway was about 15 minutes, which was convenient. Property is not very conveniently located if you plan to spend a lot of time in Manhattan. It’s a long train ride to the city and was a long rideshare ride back at night.

The apartment was clean. However, the location of the apartment was not accurately represented. The property heading states it’s in “charming” Brooklyn, but there is nothing charming about this part of Brooklyn. Bravo Supermarket was within walking distance, but did not have good food choices, and was in a noisy neighborhood with quite a bit of police activity. The email I received with instructions for accessing the keys indicated the property was in the East Flatbush neighborhood, but when we Googled the address, it’s actually in the Brownsville neighborhood, described as having one of the highest crime rates in NYC. In addition, it was very difficult to open the doors with the keys provided. But the biggest issue we had was not having a working refrigerator/freezer. I communicated with the host, but the person he sent to fix it did not fix it, nor was it replaced the entire length of our stay, resulting in the spoilage of some of the food purchased our first night. For the reasons stated, I cannot recommend staying in this apartment.

Pleasant Brooklyn Stay

This property was a great place to stay in the city with a larger group. I went on a girls trip with six people total. There was room for all of us with two people doubling up in one room. The accommodations were very nice and clean overall. The outdoor patio space in the back was nice to have access to. Street parking is free, just first come first serve. If you are looking to be able to get into Manhattan a lot this may not be the place for you. The walk to the subway was about 10 min give or take. This place was a bit farther removed from the areas we wanted to go to (Coney Island, Canal St., NY Botanical Garden) but for the price and space it was a good trade off. The host was very responsive to my messages with any questions. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay overall. I would recommend this stay for a family or group of friends who do not mind walking and longer subway rides. Definitely a family friendly location with other families living in the building. Neighbors were very quiet and respectful with reasonable apartment living noises. The street was pretty quiet when we were there (end of June). The apartment is temperature controlled which was great during the heat wave. Bring your own toilet paper because hosts only provided one roll per bathroom and we had to go out and buy toilet paper after the first day.
