Fantastic Stay! Could not have been better. And right in the Village. A stroll for breakfast, and an evening walk for dinner and an ice cream. And a nice deck to sit out back on, on Mirror Lake. And 15 minute drive to ADK LOJ. We climbed Mt Jo and the second day walked around Heart Lake. Then happy hour at Smoke Signals 4-6pm. A lovely Village to walk around and you can rent boats/kayaks a few doors down!

Extremely steep staircase, which is the alleyway for the garage from the stores above the apartment. Needs shades for windows. Needs a new bed,very uncomfortable. The patio that over looks the lake is in bad shape, Good for guys who are just looking for a place in town to sleep. Not really for couples or families.

The layout—including the staircase access and proximity to town—definitely makes the space better suited for certain types of travelers rather than everyone, but we certainly want everyone to be comfortable. This was the perfect space for our stay in Lake Placid. Very clean and quiet, and as convenient as you can find. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and hope to again!

We LOVED everything about our stay! Host is fantastic ! we had a schedule change and had to change our stay by a day, host responded immediately and helped me with the reservation day change.We were so appreciative!, Apt is in a Perfect location, it is adorable, clean, and comfortable! We would definitely book again!! Thank you!

Great place and great location! I have spent a lot of time in Lake Placid over the years and this was so wonderful because we didn’t have to drive anywhere. We could just walk to get anywhere we wanted to go!

The host was very easy to communicate with. Location is great as it is located right on Main Street with many shops restaurants etc. we had a great stay! Parking was easy. However, there was construction going on right above us both Saturday and Sunday morning that woke us up pretty early. Bring headphones or noise cancelling if you want to sleep in, I believe the shop above is going under renovation. Overall, would stay here again!

This little apartment is directly on Main St almost underneath Ben & Jerry's! That was fun for my wife who must have ice cream even in winter. The location is completely central to Lake Placid and all you want to do. Parking is tricky overnight in Winter as their days and nights have restrictions per parking lot per day. Steep steps to access the Apt, so keep that in mind if you struggle with stairs. All in all a very nice stay!

Perfect for a weekend getaway in Lake Placid! The backyard access to the dock along Mirror Lake was great. Location is prime! Parking wasn’t too difficult considering it’s on the main street—we had been worried about that, but no issues. Wifi worked well. Bed was comfortable. Walls are a little thin, could hear people in the neighboring apartments—but we would definitely stay again!

Our between season visit to Lake Placid in mid April was very relaxed and enjoyable! Ismeta was very responsive to my concerns about parking and was very helpful and accommodating!

This apartment was advertised that it slept 4. We arrived on Thursday night and there was a bed and 2 couches. The couches we could open but we had no sheets for both couches. The sheets were dirty and i don’t know how we slept that day. I had my kids sleep in the bed with their travel clothes on. Thats hoe i slept as well. We had no internet. Did not wok. We asked the owner for new bed sheets and sh only gave us one pair. The other ones that were there were dirty. The only good thing about this was the location. It is not for 4 people. The pictures miss-lead you. Price was ok as well for main st. Very disappointing.

We aim for transparency, and while the unit sleeps 4 using the bed and two convertible futon couches, I am sorry for the oversight regarding the extra linens and the Wi-Fi issues. We have since updated our cleaning checklist to ensure all backup linens are fresh and the internet is stable for future guests. We appreciate your stay and hope to provide a better experience next time

Very clean, comfortable bed and plenty of towels. Nice tile shower. There seems to be no hot water to the sinks? But the shower was fine. The host replied immediately when I had a question prior to arrival. The location is really convenient, we enjoyed walking to everything, which is the primary reason we chose it! This is essentially a basement apartment (windows go to an alley/staircase area on ground level), which makes it dark and quiet for sleeping. But there is no exterior view really of anything, which I think is worth knowing ahead of time in case you won’t be content with that. The nearest municipal parking lot is the NBT lot (upper and lower), it’s a couple minutes walk. There is no overnight parking on the street.

What Lake Access?

We weren't able to connect to the internet or get streaming services to work on the TV. Towels were arranged in a cute swan setup on the bed but no towels were given in the bathroom or towel bars to hang. Only dial hand soap was given, listing showed a tub (standing shower only) with soap provided. Lake access is through an alley with construction rubble into a restaurant's outdoor seating area. TO BE FAIR- pricing was reasonable for main st Lake Placid but TV, soap, and towels are expected as a baseline.

Hi Hannah, thanks for your review. We do have lake access and it’s behind the building not sure where the confusion was. Wish you sent a message if it was unclear. In our check in instructions our guest have the dock area to go swimming, tanning and load any kayak etc We provide two bath towels and two hand towels. If you needed more, you could of sent me a message and I would have sent it over WiFi- it wasn’t working for a day and we changed the router

Convenient

Property was convenient to everything for the weekend. Parking is a bit tricky/pricey, but to be expected given that it is Lake Placid. The stairs leading to the apartment from the sidewalk was the first surprise as the step was not evenly spaced. The apartment was ok. I attempted to contact the property owner via the VRBO messaging client to alert them that the kitchen sink had no hot water coming from the faucet. I never received a response. For the price and location, the property was fine. Ultimately we really only needed a place to sleep while in town for a hockey tournament.

The host was responsive and quick to answer our questions. The property matched the photos and is in an excellent location right on the main street, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Access requires going down a set of stairs from street level, as the apartment is on the lower floor of the building.This would be a great place to stay in spring, summer, or fall, but it is not well suited for winter. The apartment was extremely cold, with uninsulated floors that felt like they sat directly on concrete. We had to keep shoes on indoors at all times. There is no thermostat, so we couldn’t gauge the exact temperature, but it was uncomfortable enough that we would have needed to find other accommodations if we had been traveling with our child.We also had issues with plumbing due to the cold. Neither the bathroom nor kitchen sink had hot water, and the hot water lines appeared to be frozen. The shower did have hot water, which was helpful. At one point, the toilet water and supply line froze, making it unusable until we manually thawed the lines with a hairdryer and repeatedly refilled the tank with hot water from the shower.As noted in the listing, there is no dedicated parking. We parked in a nearby lot about a four-minute walk away and had to monitor meters every four hours during paid parking times.Overall, a charming and well-located apartment, but not ideal for winter stays.

The back storage room was very moldy and gave my daughter horrible allergies. We were there for a soccer tournament. The directions to find the apartment were not accurate they gave me the wrong store fronts to look for. Also when I messaged questions it was over 12 hours before someone got back to me and it seemed like an agency that did not know the answers. It was a very convenient location and that part was wonderful.

The apartment was located in a dark, dirty ally. There were trash cans filled with trash sitting next to the door. The apartment was clean but it smelled like urine and body odor. There were a total of 4 people. 2 adults and 2 kids. No towels. Also didn't have sheets and blankets for the sofa beds. I reached out to Ismeta and they had someone drop off everything. I asked for a refund due to the strong odors but never received a response regarding that. Would not recommend this place. For what they charge you are better off going to a hotel.

Host was very responsive and had lots of information to answer all my questions. The room itself was great will rent again in the future. My only down side was the parking was sometimes a pain because main street it pretty busy and the meter police were pretty strict on time. Hope you like ice cream because you can smell it all the time
