The perfect Adirondack experience awaits you at the “Moose Tracks” townhouse at the end of a private cul-de-sac! Step into a pristine, Adirondack style townhouse nestled into the heart of nature yet part of the highly sought-after Hillcrest neighborhood. A quick stroll away lies the serene Mirror Lake and its beautiful town beach, shopping galore, endless restaurants, famous Olympic village, Lake Placid marina, kid’s playground and 15-minute drive to the magnificent Whiteface mountain! Our newly renovated space is decorated with rustic Adirondack décor throughout the townhouse. The main floor allows for relaxing leisure time after a day enjoying all the area has to offer. Cozy up in the living room on two super comfortable sleeper sofas by the wood burning fireplace fully stocked with firewood to keep warm on a cool evening or night. An array of various electronics and other items to keep busy include high-speed WIFI, Sony Smart HDTV with cable, Blue Ray DVD player, Nintendo Wii console, DVD movies, board games, puzzles and more. In addition, there is an adorable desk with a chair that overlooks the tranquil woods for those that must mix some business with pleasure.
The new chef’s style kitchen is appointed with custom cabinetry and new appliances for those that love to cook. Included are all the dining essentials one may ever need such as newer pots/pans, knife block set, microwave, toaster, gourmet cookbooks, five burner stove range & oven, dishwasher, French door fridge & freezer, coffee machine with grinder, Belgium waffle maker, beautiful matching dinnerware, glassware & cutlery. Adjacent to kitchen is a large counter height wooden dining table with seating for six in its own nature oasis surrounded by windows. Note that we have a window AC unit in our main level living room, for those very rare days, just in case. Also located on the first floor is a refinished ½ bath, storage nook with bench and large closet. For your winter gear - skis, snowboards, boots, etc.., we have a storage shed outside for you to use.
The second floor has two very spacious bedrooms and laundry closet with new washer & dryer. The Master retreat has an Adirondack style queen size bed, large closet, and full bath. The 2nd bedroom features a XL bunk bed with a twin/queen combo and a full bath. Each bedroom has a window AC unit in the summer months. Head out back to our large deck overlooking the forest with seasonal mountain views. There you will find a dining table with chairs and a gas grill, perfect for the day’s catch on the lake or your famous barbecue! ***PETS NOT ALLOWED*** Unfortunately due to our own family and others allergies all pets are strictly prohibited and will forfeit deposit along with additional cleaning fee if found to be on premises.
