Fabulous little cottage! Well kept, very clean, and comfortable. The hosts communicated well and everything was ready upon our arrival. Country location was great, right next to their winery. Will definitely go back!
Mark & Sarah offer one of the coziest, clean and charming VBRO rentals you can stay at. This was our 3rd stay with them⊠They will be seeing us again!
Hosts were great and easy to work with. The place was extremely cozy, beds were comfortable, and the amenities were well thought out to make it feel like a true home away from home. Clean and uncluttered, but the place had an adorable personality. The surroundings were serene. 10/10 would stay again.
Perfect cozy place for a quiet getaway. Clean and well appointed. We are repeat clients and will be staying again. ShhhhhâŠ.donât tell anyone about this place
We had a lovely stay while in the area unwinding and wine tasting. The property is as advertised and the owners are friendly and accommodating. The train does come by several times overnight and sounds the horn at the nearby crossing. I am a light sleeper so I used ear plugs the second night and slept better!
Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Cottag was very clean and comfortable. Sarah and Mark were wonderful. Enjoed hearing the history of the Cottage.Really enjoyed the outside fireplace during the concert on Saturday.Looking forward to our next stay.
The Burnt Timbers cottage is always a nice stay. Quiet and relaxing, well appointed, out of town but convenient to anything you need. The hosts are great and the chickens will provide hours of entertainment!
Clean, charming with period details but all the modern comforts.Spacious.Parking right by door for accessibility. The hosts are communicative but not intrusive. Wonderful private location within walking distance to the winery. Only ten minutes from town. Perfect for my familyâs needs. Would definitely recommend!
For anyone looking to get away from it all and just enjoy the peace and serenity of nature while also having access to a fantastic winery with welcoming and friendly people, this is the ideal getaway. Definitely book a stay and remind yourself what relaxation actually feels like.
This is a very nice little farm house with a Winery right next door. We enjoyed our stay and the weather even cooperated and there was a nice cool breeze so we took advantage of the outdoor fireplace!
This was the perfect place to settle for a few days to do some genealogy research. Central location, peaceful property (trains not an issue) and a charming farm and winery.
The cottage is the renovated residence of the Fisher Family (Sarah's parents) and has been owned by the family since 1918. Mark and Sarah hill purchased the 105 acre farm in 2000 and have been busy restoring the property's buildings.
