Your review is unfair and inaccurate. I hope that potential guests will read the multitude of wonderful reviews that we’ve had over the last eight years. We have never received a 3 star review. You only had two adults in your reservation. Why would you remark about toys not being appropriate for a two year-old? We have a multitude of beautiful Amish roller toys, lots of games, lots of puzzles.. just an entire shelf of things for people to do inside and outside, including Cornhole on the covered porch. The bed that you criticized is not creaky and does not have any kind of problem. As the owner, I only get to visit my cabin about once a year, but I was there in January. The bed was certainly firm because it is new. It is possible that you encountered a cobweb but it is a cabin on 10 acres not a hotel room in a city. Many many guests have remarked about what a fantastic place it is and have come back to visit every year. One guest comes 10 times per year.. other people come 2 to 3 times per year. We are sorry that you did not enjoy the free firewood. I can guarantee you that it was not green firewood, but kiln dried firewood. We do spend about $7000 a year on firewood. We did not charge you for the firewood, as wood is free for guests. It is not green. It is very nice kiln dried firewood from Metzger wood product products that we have delivered. You’re unfair and inaccurate review is not helpful. You never called or messaged us during your visit.
