«Getting around» Located just a few metres from the high street, where you will find tram stops for the Red Line running West (to Mount Herzl, the central bus and train stations) and East (to Givat Tzarfatit, the Hebrew University campus, and the Pisgat Zeev neighbourhood). • A twelve-minute walk brings you to the renowned Sderot Alrov Mamilla (Alrov Mamilla Boulevard), also known simply as Mamilla. This pedestrianised stretch features designer clothing and jewellery boutiques in restored stone buildings, posh restaurants (many with patios or rooftop seating), ice cream parlours, and cafes.
Shaar Shkhem (Damascus Gate) and Shaar HaKhadash (New Gate) are just a few metres before reaching Mamilla Boulevard.
