The cabin was awesome !! We was there to visit Gatlinburg. The curvy roads and road construction and distance to Gatlinburg made it just under a 2 hour drive each way to Gatlinburg !! The drive from the Cabin to Gatlinburg was the only negative about staying here !! Everything about the cabin itself was awesome and we loved it !!
The house is lovely and has a well supplied kitchen (far better than most rental properties). Very suitable for a family gathering with lots of cooking. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Our only suggestion is that the lockbox be replaced. It is quite annoying to maneuver. Also, the pictures do not alert you to the fact that the house sits very close to Hwy. 209. For us this was not an issue because the back porch is spacious and lovely with the sound of the rushing creek and the side yard is very nice. However, for guests with young children this might be a concern. We would stay here again without hesitation.
We hiked Max Patch and visited the stocked fishing pond just beyond the parking lot, about a 25-minute winding drive from the cabin. Experiencing the 360 degree mountain view is an absolute must. The rest of our stay was spent on the back porch overlooking the creek, eating, chatting, watching those of us who fished or dozing off to the sound of the water. It was wonderful to unplug and enjoy the house; it was perfectly equipped and neat as a pin. If youâre looking for peace and calm, this is it!
We were very happy with our stay at this house. It is just like it looks in the pictures. The main living areas are big enough for family to sit together comfortably. The kitchen was well-equipped for most cooking. The beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. The best part of the house is the large back porch perfect for sitting and listening to the creek rush by. The house is pretty remote, but the roads are easily accessible. The area is beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again.
