When we first arrived, the town home was 80° inside and the cleaner had just left. The air conditioning was not working and the rental company had already closed for the day since we had to Wait to check in until late in the afternoon. And when I message them prior in the week to check to see if there was a Keurig on the property they responded with no and there was clearly a brand new Keurig there. Just seems like they didn't know much about their rental and what was there. The place was beautifully decorated and right on the beach.
We came here to have a small family Thanksgiving. The house was clean, the kitchen fully stocked with appliances and everything I needed to cook a nice Thanksgiving for the 4 of us. We had a relaxing time and kids were happy playing game, watching movies and eating delicious food. The beds are comfortable and view from the top floor is great.
This was home away from home for the 4 days we were here.
Thank you.
The Quay A2 met all of our vacation needs. The facility was spacious and well kept. Parking was adequate. My husband and I would stay here again and are thinking about making this a yearly trip for us.
This was our first year staying at the Quay and I would definitely not rent the same unit. The unit is very outdated with outdated decor, worn carpet throughout the Condo and there were several electrical outlets in the unit that did not work including both in the bathroom area where I needed for my hair dryer. The toaster in the kitchen barely worked and the coffee pot looked like it hasnât been replaced in years. I was very upset when we arrived a little early (30 minuets) and while finding our unit the inspector for the company came to make sure everything was in place and had been cleaned. Upon her leaving she called the office to ask if we could get in at that time (30 minuets early) and was informed no we couldnât check in until 4:00. Iâm sure they just want to collect the $150 for the optional early check in that they offer. Perhaps a different unit would be nicer but I probably wonât rent here again.
Our week at Nags Head was very relaxing. We were pleasantly surprised the unit had been updated with new TVs and living room furniture. There were a few things that need to be addressed and we notified the rental company but all in all the unit met our needs.
This was our 2nd yr staying at the Quay. (Same building but different unit last June) The beach was beautiful, the location was wonderful, but to be honest...our unit left a little to be desired. We pd a bit more this yr - and for less.... Our view wasn't as nice or as private (overlooked the public parking lot) and the unit was definitely more dated. The fixtures were older, as was the decor. The gate/latch on the deck were rickety and difficult to use. My kids found the bunk beds uncomfortable- opting to share the queen in the guest room instead. My husband had brought some DVDs along thinking he might watch some movies....but our unit only had...VHS players..? Don't get me wrong - the basics were there (and solid.). Great outdoor shower, working coffee pot, plenty of cooking utencils, and it was clean. I think we may have just been spoiled last yr staying in a unit with a recently updated (granite) kitchen, with newer furniture, nice outdoor seating area with a better view, more modern amenities (f
