Fully equipped kitchen was great, super comfortable house with a fabulous view of lake. Loved the convenience of the fenced yard for our dogs. Quiet neighborhood close to state park and lake activities
Beautiful view of the lake, we loved watching the birds and the sunset. The place was cozy and just the size we needed for a short stay. We also liked the nice fenced backyard for our pups, which was great. The owners were responsive and quick to communicate on any questions we had. Thank you!!
We have stayed in maybe a half dozen homes in Hulbert/Taylor Ferry when visiting Clear Creek Abbey. They were all good, and I would/have recommended them all. But this is the best. Beautiful, amenities filled house with a great view. Would highly recommend and we plan on this being our go to place to stay when we visit the Abbey
Walk through the front door and you immediately feel welcomed by the fresh scent, decor and beautiful view of the lake. Cabinets are well stocked with kitchen ware and spices galore. Communication with host is excellent and timely. Would definitely stay here again.
My family had a wonderful time at the Cottage! Nice set up and beautiful view of the lake! We really enjoyed our stay!! The host was very nice and was very helpful. Definitely recommend this property!!
No notes. Everything was fantastic.Organized. Spacious. Comfortable. It's cliche to say, but off the bat the photos didn't do it justice. We walked in and were shocked at the size and feel of the home - and it did feel like a *home*. Communication with Caleb was great, and they were kind enough to permit us to ask to order an extra day ahead of scheduled in preparation for bad weather. We cooked most days. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some (we forgot our rice cooker.. no worries - there was one there!). We like to keep things clean as we go, and were happy to well kept appliances to a variety of good cleaning items. But we never felt pressure to put a microscope to anything. We were nervous since this is our first experience with a Vrbo or any service of that kind - but the transparency and value put that all at ease! We brought our dog. He liked looking out the windows at the animals. He got his steps in as we trekked to beach and walked along road to the almost mountainous areas nearby (or maybe I'm just out of shape!). Rooms and bathrooms were clean, cozy, and complete. Lot of sports that weekend, and we were glad their TVs were set up to allow for us to sign into any necessary channels on our accounts. It's December, and loved the touch of seeing decorated tree in the space. The VIEW is amazing. Fun story: we got in at 2 am. Didn't realize the view until next morning. Eyes popped and said "Oh my Gosh." Hour later, wife did *exact* same thing.
