We noted several repairs that needed to be made during our stay and contacted the rental place. The sliding glass door sticks really bad. So for my elderly mother that was really hard. Someone came to address it but it was never fixed. They may end up having to replace something. The event Hood above the stove was not working and you could not cook without setting off the al smoke alarm

The view is amazing, but, that’s the only positive about this place. Desperate need of updating throughout the condo. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this isn’t it. Basically it’s a glorified overpriced hotel. Won’t stay at Turquoise again.

I've stayed at Turquoise before and was impressed. It's the host's responsibility to be upfront about what the unit offers so the guest can make a good choice for them. I cook. Couldn't cook anything other than eggs on the stove-the hood vents and lights don't work. Couldn't grill-the grill was dirty, rusty, and full of the last guests food. My husband is handicapped, and we have a wide vehicle. There is only one handicapped space, which was always taken, but it wouldn't have mattered because it wasn't any wider than the regular space-in which we couldn't even open the doors fully, much less use assistive devices. So not being able to cook, and struggling to come and go was a challenge all the way around. The jaccuzi tub (not outdoor hot tub) not only didn't work, it wasn't even connected. This was the deciding factor that made me book this unit rather than another one. That may not be important for someone else since there is an outdoor hot tub, but it was important to me. Security came saying there was an alarm on it when we tried to connect it-so that's clearly an issue they knew about beforehand and didn't communicate. Toilet clogged, no plunger in the unit. We had 3 different work orders in, for which I had to wait on 3 different repairmen. I need to send them a bill for managing their unit all week. I lost beach/pool time doing that for them. I'm highly disappointed in the stress this week caused me. Southern Vacation Rentals doesn't maintain their units well at all.

Place was awesome! Loved the condo and all the amenities that came with staying there! Check in process was terrible though. I arrived to Turquoise @ 6:45pm & wasn’t able to get checked in until 8pm due to the security not being able to find my reservation.
