Votre propre retraite privée est nichée sur une pente surplombant le vignoble et les montagnes. Plan d'étage ouvert avec une vue de chaque fenêtre. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec comptoirs en quartz, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, cuisinière, cafetière et un premier petit-déjeuner de bienvenue dans votre réfrigérateur. Lit Queen avec literie de qualité supérieure, salon confortable, salle à manger, douche à l'italienne et télévision à écran plat 40 pouces avec satellite. Grand patio avec des sièges et un barbecue à gaz.
L'emplacement est idéalement situé entre Bedford et Roanoke en Virginie. Près du mémorial du jour J, de la promenade Blue Ridge et du lac Smith Mountain.
La cabine convient le mieux à deux personnes. Les animaux domestiques sont les bienvenus avec la permission du propriétaire.

When the World is too Peopley-- THIS is the place!

We had the most peaceful and soul-filling getaway at this beautiful property. The cabin and grounds are incredibly well kept, and even the tiniest of details were thoughtfully provided — from a well-appointed kitchen to the morning breakfast that was such a treat.We loved walking around the gorgeous property — the pond, woods, and vineyard were all picture-perfect, like something out of a postcard. It was the perfect couples’ escape for when the world gets a little too peopley — we went over 24 hours without seeing or hearing another human, and honestly, it was glorious.Melissa was wonderful — she was quick to reply to emails and texts, and was incredibly friendly and gracious throughout our stay.We fell asleep to thunderstorms bouncing off the mountains, watched fireflies dance in the yard, and even had a baby deer stop by to say good morning. The bed slept wonderfully (and that’s saying a lot — we’re picky about our sleep!).If you’re looking for a place to recharge, reconnect, and not have to share space with anyone except maybe the wildlife, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

This is one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at...the location was great for our needs, the cabin was very clean and cozy, they have all the amenities for staying in to grill and chill! Lovely views of the vineyards with mountains in the background, beautiful walking trails, a fishing pond stocked with plenty of bass and bream. The best part about it all is that you're completely secluded and surrounded by nature. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing Birthday Weekend

I’ve been searching for months to find a relaxing and secluded spot to unwind for my birthday. This little cabin stood out! Check in was super easy! Just text the host when you are arriving, and the door will be opened prior to your arrival. The cabin was exactly as described and if you read the reviews, you’ll know, it was fully stocked with all amenities. The room gives a hotel suite vibe, but cozier. The breakfast amenities were an excellent touch! Fresh eggs, blackberry jam, English muffins! Yum! We really enjoyed the light walking we were able to do on the many trails. Bringing our dog was one of the main reasons I chose this cabin, and he was absolutely thrilled with the long walks and many sniffs! He was exhausted by the end of the day. We really appreciate that this spot was so dog friendly!! They even left him a treat to enjoy! We cooked on the grill, and enjoyed the views. There were plenty of deer, our pup found a turtle, and we heard lots of other wildlife in the distance. An absolutely beautiful place! We will definitely stay again! Oh! And I really appreciated the Happy Birthday sign they hung for me! That was so sweet!

Excellent location and cabin

We love staying here. The cabin is exceptionally clean which is very important to us. The location is excellent with easy access to Roanoke, Bedford, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin is well stocked, so that when guests arrive they are free with much of what they need for their stay.

Absolutely Wonderful!!

I need to give this more than 5 stars! I cannot brag on these hosts more! This was, hands down, the best VRBO experience we've ever had! The hosts were amazing and made us feel so welcomed before we even stepped foot on the property. It was exactly as listed with beautiful views, privacy, quiet, and filled with so many details to make your trip fabulous! It was close enough to Bedford for day trips. We will definitely be returning sometime again soon! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

Quiet Respite for Relaxation

The hosts were very accommodating. This is the perfect getaway to enjoy peace and quiet with beautiful scenery surrounding the property. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. Comfortable, quality bed was a definite plus. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Getaway

We were delighted with our stay at Shady Grove. The cabin is extremely well laid out, clean with quality throughout. My wife and I enjoyed hiking on the private 3 mile trail, seeing the grapes up close and from the cabin. The area is completely secluded and private with the exception of deer, fireflies, bluebirds and rabbits. The outdoor amenities were great and we used the grill for dinners we enjoyed on the patio. We will definitely plan to return.

Excellent intimate stay for a bday weekend getaway

Not sure why but I was a little underwhelmed when I first searched out stays in this area and came upon this listing. It was not our first choice but it was definitely the dream stay I envisioned. Cozy, private, gorgeous mountainous views, and hosts, were all perfection. So many unexpected bonuses to make my fiancé and myself and our two pups’ stay the absolute best. 10/10 for us!

Peaceful Getaway

We had an excellent stay. The cabin and grounds offered a private and peaceful getaway (which was exactly what we were looking for). The property had trails, a pond, fenced in vineyard, beautiful views and plenty of wildlife ... not to mention farm fresh eggs! The cabin was very well appointed and had everything we needed. Most importantly our dog gave this place a "two paws up" review! Can't rave enough about the hosts! Communication was great and they were readily available if we needed anything. We're already looking forward to our next stay.

Secluded paradise

The listing was exactly as described. Perfect getaway with stunning views and very private. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. The host was very organized and went the extra mile to leave us with a nice anniversary banner and lots of welcome gifts. Plenty of nature walking trails and a nice outdoor fire pit. I strongly recommend this place for any occasion.

Wonderful gem

This cabin is a nice place to get away and relax. Melissa has thought through a a lot and made the weekend wonderful. Or plans were rained out, but we enjoyed staying close to the cabin for most of the day and then venturing out on the trails on the property. This is one of the best Vrbo rentals I’ve been in.

Perfection!

This was our third stay at the cabin, and our third season to experience there. We have visited in the Summer, Fall and Spring and each time has been fantastic! I can't begin to express how exceptional the hosts are when we come to stay. The little touches that make this the perfect vacation show how much they care about their guests. If I could give an even higher rating, I would! We will definitely continue to be returning guests!!
