Our honeymoon stay at Mount Bross Chalet

Could not say enough positive things about our stay! The cabin was very clean, gorgeous views and for a GREAT price! Anytime we needed anything during our stay, the company was very attentive and helpful. They let us text them with any and all questions about the cabin and responded very quickly. One of the best experiences we have had from a host! You won't regret booking!

It was a great little secluded cabin to get away from everything. The property was very clean, the memory foam mattress was very comfortable. I'll probably be going back.

The view was absolutely breath taking. We saw wild wife within one mile from the cabin. Please beware of the elevation. It is very high. The cabin was very clean the hot tube wasn't as clean as it should have been. The cabin is a great size for a family of 5. Our stay was amazing.

Had a wonderful week at the cabin. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed watching the sunrise over Mt. Silverheels and set over Mt. Bross from the Hot Tube/Firepit area. Everything was clean and well maintained and we found the kitchen well stocked for making many meals there. Was quiet and very secluded.Plenty of great hikes in the area; some easy hikes and some attainable 14’ers in the backyard.Note the altitude in the listing and plan time to acclimate. We came from Ohio (950 ft elevation) and spent a few days in Denver first and stayed hydrated. That seemed to help us acclimate but we still took it easy the first day. Overall a great place to stay in a wonderful location.

The view in itself makes booking this cabin worth it. The hot tub was amazing. The cabin is so cute and cozy. I'd book this place again in a heartbeat. 10/10!

The cabin had everything we needed. The views are amazing. We were there to hike and this property is a perfect location for unlimited trails. Super clean, comfortable rooms. Can’t say enough about this property. As advertised.

The property is beautiful. Secluded amongst the trees and stunning mountain views. The hot tub worked great and was clean. We received quite a bit of snow while we were there, and they plowed right up to our front door. However, the driveway is quite steep and we still weren’t able to make it up in our AWD vehicle one morning. Our party was all able bodied, so it wasn’t a big deal to park at the bottom and walk up. I would definitely stay here again.

We coordinate closely with the plow companies to get the driveway cleared right up to the door after a good snow, so it's great to hear that came through. Regarding the driveway, we do recommend 4WD from November through May, as AWD can struggle on that grade after heavy snowfall—but it sounds like your group handled it in stride. We'd love to host you again anytime.

Mount Bross Chalet

Location was beautiful and secluded but easy to get to. There were issues with quite a few of the lights. Some lights didn't work and some of the switches didn't seem to control anything. There were a couple of dirty and broken dishes in the cabinets. There were also a couple of shades missing from some windows. There were a lot of moths and spiders in the house even with all of the windows closed. The response time for anything we needed was very fast. House rules and checkout were detailed and easy to follow. The views were magnificent and the hot tub looked clean and was very comfortable. The kitchen was, other than a few items, very well stocked and suitable for cooking and preparing meals. The pie in the freezer for us was a very kind gesture. Overall it was a very nice stay and added to the fun of our honeymoon.

Driving up the road was a little, and I mean little rough. We upgraded to a jeep just as a precaution. Probably didn't need to. The house is nestled in the pines with views of the mountains out each window. The place was clean, and secluded. The crisp mountain air along with the views made the hot tub a nice touch. We never got to use the fire pit with the high fire danger. Wildlife is abundant. We saw Jay's, magpies, chipmunks, mule deer, moose, and fox right out the window. All beds were comfortable and in great shape. The two bathrooms were also in great condition. The kitchen was clean and modern. The cabinets were stocked with everything you would need to cook for an extended stay. The gas grill was nice to have right out the door to cook up a delicious rib eye from the Al-mart in town. Food in town is quite spendy, but it is convenient. I suggest getting your main supplies in Fairplay or Breckenridge and get the small stuff you forgot in town. Overall experience..10/10 would recommend.

Lovely location and a clean home. However, the altitude is very high which caused me an issue. May not challenge others but wanted to be sure folks are aware of it.

Pretty views with tight spaces

It is a very pretty location and the beds were decent. The cabin says it’s for 6 but it’s small it would be best with 4 people. The table only seats 4. The heating in the living room didn’t work. When we notified them of this problem they told us just to use the stove in the living room. That’s fine if they were to supply enough wood for that. We spent an additional 200 on wood to keep it warm. The hot water only lasted 5 minutes so you had to shower very quickly or freeze. The dryer didn’t work so we couldn’t wash clothes. Lastly the cabin is at 11,000 feet we had 4 wheel drive vehicles but I feel they should be pressed on how important that is.
