Cozy Chalet in the Mountains

St Mary's Glacier offers a tranquil setting for nature walks with several trailheads in the subdivision. Fishing is allowed on 2 private stocked lakes (1 catch and release and 1 catch and keep). Fishing badges are provided and must be worn while fishing. Several UTV trailheads are located within the subdivision as well.

The cabin is located at 10,000 feet elevation therefore can experience winter driving conditions from October through April. AWD and 4WD vehicles with DEDICATED SNOW TIRES are highly recommended throughout the winter season.

Please note that this property is located in St Mary's Glacier Colorado at an elevation of 10,000 feet. Altitude sickness can be experienced by some guests so you are encouraged to research preventative measures and check with your doctor if you have existing medical conditions that may be negatively affected by high altitudes.

Winter driving conditions exist from October through April therefore AWD or 4WD vehicles with DEDICATED SNOW TIRES is highly recommended. Most of the national car rentals do not offer snow tires so you may want to look into renting a vehicle through Turo where you can communicate with the vehicle owner to ensurer that true snow tires are on the vehicle.
