Great Location and Clean

The property was clean and in a great location. The check in process was easy and straight forward. I would stay here again or recommend it to others. I enjoyed the pool and having the beach just steps away. The view from the loft was amazing.

Gnats taken over.

We get to the property and open the door and feel sand all over the floor, notice the gnats flying around, find hair in the bathtub, food next to the couch, some kind of drink splatter on the wall, mold on the shower curtain, mold on the vent in the ceiling in the bottom bathroom And some kind of moldy object that was left in a basket in the cabinet that was unidentifiable. Text the number that told us our condo was ready and they said they’d send a maid over. I notified them that we were going to go get something to eat. We get back about 2.5 hours later and the house keeper knocks on the door ready to clean. We drove 14.5 hours the last thing we wanted was to wait to go to bed while the condo got cleaned. She vacuumed, swept up the sand, removed the moldy object and shower curtain but the other things were left. We were ready for bed we put our leftovers in the fridge to wake up the next day to find gnats in the fridge IN OUR FOOD. We didn’t complain until day 3 of our stay when the gnats were in everything and we cleaned constantly while we were there. I couldn’t even drink coffee in there because the gnats got it first. We had to throw away SO MUCH FOOD! We texted and they said they’d spray we came back and there about 15-20 dead gnats and some still alive just in the fridge. We ran in to a member of the HOA who said if you rent anything on the first 3 floors you will have gnats. I rent condos every year I’ve never had that problem. Since you’re not dealing with the HOA but liquid life you get told they’ll respond to you in 7-14 days. It was very upsetting when you go to relax and can’t because of the bug issue. I’d also like to mention at no time did we have doors or windows open. The condo would be nice if it didn’t have the bug issues and had better housekeeping.

Bare Minimum

We enjoyed our time together as a family, however the property was poorly supplied (five towels and four washcloths for a family of five and absolutely no hand soap. There were not even sheets or pillowcases for the pull out couch if needed). When I responded to the message of VRBO/liquid life reaching out to see how the condo was I asked for more towels, washcloths and hand soap was told “due to supply shortages” they could not provide any. We were free to use the washer and dryer, which we did, that promptly left a mildew smell in our clothes and towels, even though we do not neglect articles of clothing in the washer or dryer. The shower curtain upstairs is mildewed. There were only two chairs on the patio and absolutely none on the patio off the second bedroom. The second bathroom is without a shower door entirely. The king sized bed is also in a loft, which made staying with extended family completely uncomfortable. Be prepared to bring your own beach towels, wash cloths, hand soap and chairs for the patio if you have more than two people. The highlight was the ease of loading and unloading the car since the condo is ground level. It definitely needs some TLC before the next guest visits for the amount of money paid to rent.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit and complex was very clean which is important to us. Nice quiet location. The vertical blinds need to go, they don't work. With a view like this one, get some easy open drapes to enjoy it. My only real complaint, check in time... Liquid Life says after 3 pm, I received text at 5:18 pm that the unit was ready. We go up to the unit and the cleaning crew is still cleaning, we didn't get unit until 5:30 pm. I believe there is a breakdown of communication between the cleaning crew and management. After 3 should be 4 at the latest, not 2 1/2 hours later!

It was a short walk to the beach, pool was nice. Beds were comfortable, just could have had more linens for sofa bed. I had to go to Walmart at 10:30 first night because I didn’t realize they didn’t supply blankets or spread for sofa bed. Kitchen could have more cooking utensils and such, but we made do. We had a problem with the dryer and ice maker and they sent someone within an hour to take care of it. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

NO SLEEP!!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Zero sleep or rest for 4 nights. How do you expect people to sleep in this place. NO CURTAINS! You are up at the crack of dawn. The master bedroom is wide open to the living room. Zero privacy. Only Sheers in the master. You can’t even change your clothes. At night if you are downstairs and someone is upstairs you can see there reflection through the mirrored windows. And the huge windows in the front... no curtains. Invest in your place for your guest and put some curtains up. And the noise. When you are sitting downstairs You can hear the person talking upstairs as if they are talking into your ear. And if someone has a tv on downstairs you can forget about going to sleep upstairs. This place is for a couple only or a couple and one kid. When you rent a two bedroom you would think you would be comfortable with 2 couples and 2 kids. Not the case. The beds were uncomfortable. And sofa is so worn down it’s like your sitting on springs. And don’t even try to pull out the ****** sofa bed. Furniture is dated. The chair in the living room is peeling. It really needs to be thrown out. Moldy patio furniture. Master is Hot! The property sent someone out right away to check the air conditioner. They said nothing was wrong. It was still hot in the master at night. But I guess when you have wall to ceiling windows with no curtains it’s going to be hot. The shower curtain in the master bathroom is covered in mold. It’s disgusting. They sent someone out and put up a plastic shower curtain and left the 1999 curtains that were full of mold. Please do your guest a favor and take those curtains down. You DO NOT have direct access to the beach from your patio and you do not have a balcony with a beach view. Ice maker is broken, the dryer was loud. There was a rat on the patio trying to get in the door. The only pros were that you didn’t have to deal with elevators, a short walk to pool, and easy to unload from your car to the condo. We left

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was everything we wanted and more!!1st of all, it was SUPER clean!! I'm sort of a neat freak when we stay places. There wasn't even any sand grains on the floors or sofas!!2nd, staying on the first floor was cool! We parked right outside, & it was SO easy getting our stuff in & out of the room! From our patio, we could hear the waves & had daily crab visitors. From the 2nd floor bedroom, we could see the beach, & we would sit up there & watch the dolphins!3rd, the condo itself is perfect!!! We used both bedrooms & the pullout sofa bed (which my teenage son said was super comfortable!)! We loved having 2 full bathrooms, & we got SO much use out of the laundry room! The kitchen was pretty awesome too & had everything we needed!!4th, we loved that the overall complex is pretty small, so the pool & beach were never overly crowded!! 5th, the Liquid Life company is amazing!! They were a dream to deal with! Better than any rental company I have ever dealt with!When we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here again!!!

Love the location, cleanliness, people on site, and amenities. I will say this year we were not as pleased with Liquidlife’s service of some issues we had(no cable in bedroom, dryer going out, 1 hour late getting us check-in code) but the property itself is wonderful and we will be back!

LOVELY weekend!

Was blown away by this property! Absolutely beautiful unit very spacious. You cannot beat the view from this place, the floor to ceiling windows were stunning. This was probably my favorite condo I have stayed in. Everything was so convenient, the pool was right there, the beach was right there, we walked to Florabama! Cannot speak highly enough about this place!

The room was excellent! Everything was great until the water line busted. We had to go over 24 hours without water to shower or flush toilets. We dealt with it but I was mad for those 24 hours. I needed a shower! I also needed to flush toilets badly. Other than that problem the trip was awesome! I did love that we was practically on the beach alone! Nice pool and very nice security guards.

The view from the condo overlooking the beach was excellent. The access to the beach excellent

Cleaning crew did not do a good job. Found there was still sand and dirt on the kitchen floor. The entire 5 days that we were there, the television in one of the bedrooms did not work and the technician that was scheduled never came to repair it, we did not have internet service for about 2 days when we were there, the garbage disposal stunk; however, a repairman did come and unjam the food left in the disposal. the furniture needs updating as the chair is peeling in the living room and the sofa is sunken.

Do not recommend

I will start off by saying the location is great. Bottom floor and corner unit was great. That is about the only positive. The furniture is peeling in the living room, the ac was broken (fixed within two days) the queen bed was broken, had a random person try to come do a sprinkler check in our condo and if we weren’t there, he was coming in anyway. He even stated he thought we were at the beach. Very weird. I called the customer service number to report that issue and they wound up changing our door code. Then they had an unannounced fire drill for about an hour. Even stated on the loud speaker a fire was detected, but once we spoke to someone on the property, they stated it was a drill. The ice maker was broken. Had someone try to come out and fix it and they couldn’t. Never heard anything about that situation again so we walked to the store and got our own ice. The blinds are broken in the living room. The price we paid for this condo, I was very disappointed and will never stay here again.

Condo wasn't cleaned properly

There were stains on the pillow couches, bed pillows had stain on cover, microwave wasn't cleaned out. There a was a chair that has been peeling for along time. The blinds covering the Oceanview window was broken and some were folded behind the peeled chair. The kitchen table chairs had stains in it as well.

Great location but few things to consider before arrival

Great location and overall nice stay. The place was clean and ready when we arrived. The only thing I will make note of that I didn’t realize from the pictures is that the condo is a semi loft style so the master bedroom is partially open to the main living area downstairs. So, if you have anyone in the group who may be up later or want to sleep in this makes that room less ideal for those situations as you can hear everything down below or have lights brightening room. It didn’t really impact us too much but I wasn’t expecting it and I can see how that might impact some. I also was surprised there was not even a bar of soap or hand soap provided and we noticed the half bath didn’t have toilet paper in there but we had extra. I was just surprised there wasn’t even salt and pepper or any basic things like that which we usually find at other VRBOs, but I usually do not rent from rental companies so that could be the difference. Overall, it was a great stay and couldn’t have been in a better location especially with small kids.
