Regarding the ocean view, our property is indeed oceanfront, and as described in the listing, the upstairs level provides clear views of the beach. The photos and listing details aim to set realistic expectations, and we encourage guests to review them prior to booking. On the matter of security cameras, we understand privacy is important. However, the exterior-only cameras are clearly disclosed in the listing and are in place solely for the safety and security of our guests and the property. There are no interior cameras, and all surveillance is within the legal and platform guidelines. We also understand your concern regarding the bathroom issue. As soon as we were informed of the leaking toilet, our maintenance team responded and resolved the issue promptly. We take maintenance seriously and act quickly to address any problems during a guest's stay. Finally, we must address the guest occupancy. Our listing clearly states a maximum of 10 guests. During your stay, there were 12 individuals present, which is a violation of the rental agreement. This is why, in accordance with our policies, your security deposit was forfeited. We always welcome constructive feedback and take all concerns seriously. At the same time, we must ensure that our policies are respected to protect the experience for all guests.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we would like to clarify a few important points for accuracy. Prior to your arrival, you contacted us to ask about hosting a wedding at the property, and we clearly communicated that events of that nature are not permitted at our homes, in line with our rental agreement and local code compliance regulations. Despite this, you proceeded to organize a large gathering, securing a city permit to host the event in front of the property without our approval and in direct violation of our house rules. Additionally, the number of guests at the property exceeded the maximum allowed occupancy, which raised significant safety and compliance concerns. For this reason, our management team was required to monitor the situation more closely. Any outreach on our part was in response to these violations—not to invade your privacy, but to protect the property and ensure the safety of all involved, including you and your guests. We understand special occasions are important, but we ask all guests to respect the guidelines set forth when booking. These policies are in place to protect our homes, our neighbors, and future guests.
