Great views of the lake, and gorgeous sunsets!! Laura was responsive and helpful!! Love that all of the rooms face the water!!! Would stay here again..
My husband, four year old, and I stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The house is secluded and quiet, with gorgeous lake views from every room. The beds were comfortable, and the house is super clean. Itâs the perfect spot to enjoy the beach and a trip to Pond Hill Farm for a fall/pumpkin picking weekend!
We had a wonderful time! The house was exactly as described. Very clean with everything that we needed or could want. The beach was great. Lots of long walks and time spent on the beach. Getting to the beach might be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Overall I would definitely recommend for a summer or weekend getaway.
We had a very relaxing stay at this beautiful home! The place was very clean and comfortable and provided everything that we needed to unwind and recharge. The beach and surroundings were pristine and serene! We were able to find very good places to eat out within a 10-20 minute drive. We enjoyed this home and the location!
What a beautiful space you have! The sliding glass doors running the entire length of the house were such a treatâwe loved being able to take in the views and all that natural light. Your home was so comfortable and inviting, and we truly had such a pleasant and relaxing visit. The beach was gorgeous and gave us the perfect spot to unwind. We also had fun exploring nearbyâgrabbing potpies from the General Store in Good Hart was such a treat, and we really enjoyed lunch at Pond Hill Farm with all the activities there.Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with usâweâve made such lovely memories and would love to come back!
One of the nicest places we have stayed. Minimal stairs to the private, beautiful sand, beach. Views were amazing. Interior living space very nice and met all of our needs. Would highly recommend.
The property had a stunning view from every room of the house; the layout was successful in its intention to highlight Lake Michigan. Decor was tasteful; everything had been considered to make guests comfortable. We would definitely return.
The title pretty much says it all! It was the perfect girls retreat with sisters and our daughters. We spent most of our time on the beach and walking along Lake Michigan. We also visited local wineries and Leg's Restautant. Visits to the Good Hart General Store and the Tea Room were a bonus treat!
This place was exactly what my family needed! A gorgeous getaway with pristine beaches and an incredible view. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. The host Laura was easy to get in touch with and made the stay as seamless as possible. Thank you for opening your beautiful home so we could make memories at our favorite lake!
Our family stayed for a week in July, we could not have been happier with the cleanliness, location, amenities, and style of the house. The very private beach was perfect for our 6 year old daughter to swim during the day and watch the sunset at night. Laura was very easy and quick to get in touch with when we had a question. We hope to be back!
Great location with beautiful lake view and easy access to the lakefront.
We loved the home design, thin long building with lake views from every room through eight sliding glass door walls. We opened all of them when we arrived and left them open until we departed. The deck is a great place to relax. The home has updates throughout, and the beds are very comfortable. Easy access to the home using a digital lockset. Great central location for Cross Village, Harbor Springs, Good Hart, Wilderness State Park, Mackinac Island, etc.
My friend and I sought a quiet space and beauty for six days. With access to the upper peninsula and the tunnel of trees, we rested well and enjoyed beautiful weather in a house that had spectacular views and lots of chipmunks chattering as they gathered autumn acorns. A comfortable way for nature lovers to enjoy nature without working too hard. Laura the owner is highly responsive and helpful.
The house and property were fantastic! Very clean and well kept and amazing views of the lake and sunset! Laura was a pleasure to work with and answered the many questions I had. It was the first vacation my kids went on and they loved it! The toys in the house and the beach toys were a huge hit and helped make their time on the trip more enjoyable. The trip was one that my kids, wife and I will not forget!
The house was perfect for me, my husband, and our two grown children. All rooms face the lake - a great sight to wake up to and amazing wave noise to fall asleep to. We spent most of our time on the lake-facing deck and on the beach - exactly one person walked by during our stay. We divided our time between being at the house, isolated from the world and trekking into Petoskey, Mackinac, and Wilderness State Park - you can do both easily. We hope to return next summer!
This is such a hidden gem! The beach is private and beautiful-- we really didn't want to go anywhere else. All the games and books were a nice addition. Kitchen was well stocked. You do need to bring shampoo and conditioner but hair dryer is provided. We loved this spot and would love to come back some day! It's much better in person than online!
We absolutely loved our stay! The accommodations were as listed and the house is adorable. We enjoyed the decorating and the windows along the waterside of the house. We will book again someday when we don't have Grandma with us! :-) The stairs were a little much for her to get back up. The beach was beautiful as it always is, and definitely our "happy place." We snorkeled and paddle boarded for hours. Thanks for the Adirondack chairs on the beach and for the comfy beds!
House sits on a bluff overlooking lake Michigan with steep stairs down to a 100 foot beautiful private beach, extending for miles in each direction, perfect for walking and wandering between the varying collections of small stones and large and very large rocks. During our off season week long stay, we saw no one and very few footprints. The house's orientation to the west makes for beautiful sunset views. Each of the bedrooms/baths, located at either end of the living area, makes for comfortable, private and quiet spaces for everyone. All rooms have access to the deck overlooking the lake. The compact kitchen and dining areas are usefully appointed with all the necessary appliances and dishes and pots and pans. We had one issue with the dishwasher, which was addressed promptly. The living area is very comfortable and the TV and streaming services worked well. We enjoyed the property and area and look forward to a return in the future.
We had an incredible vacation in large part to Lauraâs beautiful beach home. The location was perfect, so quiet and peaceful and right next to the water. Located on the Tunnel of Trees, and only a short scenic drive away from Harbor Springs. There is a gorgeous view from every part of the house and the sliding doors allowed a nice cool breeze to flow through the house. The kitchen is so well stocked and we cooked salmon on the grill. We saw bald eagles and found petoskey stones. Waking up, and going to sleep with the sound of the waves was so nice, itâs exactly what we needed for a relaxing beach vacation! We highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay - the house layout was great for our friends with their child to stay on one end and us on the other. Two full bathrooms (no bathtub) worked out for all of us. Loved the amenities of the full kitchen/bbq, it allowed us the opportunity to eat breakfast at home and cook out! Loved the beach access, for morning/evening strolls. Also great that kids can't "see" the beach from the house, allowing us to go down to the beach when adults were ready. The house was clean and had most everything we'd need and easy parking. the neighbors were also friendly.
There was only 1 ceiling fan and it was in the master bedroom, with no a/c and the doors open at night- the wind was north/south so the house got hot at night. (the weather was in the upper 80's during the day so when we were out the house reached 79+ with the windows shut). I'm sure if the wind shifts it would be pleasant with the sliding doors all open, but we were not that lucky this trip.
Spectacular views! Great beach! Lovely, well-appointed home!
We usually stay further south & we are SO glad we ventured up North this summer! What a wonderful, relaxing area ~ so stunning & beautiful!
We enjoyed spectacular views from every room in the house and loved the wall of sliding glass doors that opened along the beach side of the home. The large deck was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and the beautiful sunsets! There were maybe 20 stairs and a short private trail to the beach which was great! The shallow water (2-3') was warm and relatively calm. We bought an inflatable 4-person boat and enjoyed paddling around the lake.
The home was very clean and upscale - great beds & linens! Very comfortable & relaxing.
We enjoyed a 30-40 minute trip to Mackinac City & Mackinaw Island and enjoyed biking around the island. The General Store was cute and did have really good pot pies! We bought several to bring home!
Lastly, The owner, Laura, was amazing and so great to work with. I really appreciated her care and attention to our stay. Thanks so much for sharing your home!

We lived in Chicago and Vieques, PR before landing in Ann Arbor, MI. Having grown up in Harbor Springs, we always wanted a summer home in the area to enjoy the northwest coast of Michigan, the tunnel of trees, the sunsets, the beach and the water. The house is a dream, and we always feel so fortunate and peaceful every time we are there. We are excited to share it with you!
We fell in love with the house the moment we set foot on the deck. The views are breathtaking and the architecture makes perfect use of the landscape. The entire water side of the house is glass and every room has glass doors that open onto the deck. The sound of the waves and the breezes from the beach lull our nights and sooth our days. Facing due west, the mornings are peaceful and the sunsets are world class melt your heart. It is an open and livable space, yet still manages to be cozy and comfortable. I am inspired and reinvigorated every time we visit, and a bit sad every time we leave ... always left longing for our next trip up.
It is a special piece of property because it sits on a low bluff very close to the water. The house is situated perfectly to be both beach front and lofted for amazing views. The beach is pristine and beautiful, often we are the only people for miles. Set on a small cove, the waves break farther out and the water closer to shore is shallow and typically calm providing a great place for swimming and playing.
