After a day of adventure, cozy up by the built-in wall electric fireplace in the dining room or stay productive in the dedicated office/den space, ideal for remote work or planning your next outing. Outdoor lovers will enjoy direct access to scenic bike paths  and proximity to the popular ski resorts, Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. Just a short drive away, Petoskey State Park invites you to experience its natural beauty and outdoor activities, including plenty of beach shoreline on Lake Michigan! Enjoy making your meals in the spacious kitchen with a large island, new appliances, essential cutlery, and plenty of gathering space. If grilling is your thing, a gas grill is provided off the back deck. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful, comfortable house minutes from skiing at The Highlands. We were a party of 10 and this house had plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was the perfect end to each day. I would absolutely stay here again.

The rental home is always clean, spacious, including couches and floor space. It was challenging learning to use an induction stovetop, not a fan but i can easily overlook it due to how well stocked the kitchen is with quality not plastic essential kitchen tools, glassware, and dishes.

Perfect home for our group of families. Great location close to so many things to do. House was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Only downside was the house wasn't ready at check-in because the cleaning service was behind schedule.

Party of 4 couples for our stay. House was just as advertised with anything you could need in the kitchen available. Grill was great according to my hubby as well. Linens, beds and pillows were all comfy for all guests which is not common when we travel as a group. Only bummer was I requested a later check out while at the property (short two day stay) and never got an answer. Otherwise all communications were great.

Beautiful Home

The house was very comfortable for our family. We had a total of 7 with two being children. The bunk room was a hit for them. It was well stocked with everything from towels to games for the family. The management company was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The house is very well kept and clean. This would be a great place in the summer too with the play structure and fire pit. Easy to get to and close to the ski resorts

Perfect family-friendly getaway between Harbor Springs and PetoskeyThis house was perfect for our vacation. We stayed with another family (4 adults, 4 kids total) and the space worked beautifully for everyone: tons of room to spread out, plenty of bathrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen that made meals easy.The location was ideal — tucked in a quiet, safe neighborhood but still only about 8 minutes to downtown Harbor Springs and around 12–15 minutes to Petoskey. We loved the backyard, which had space for the kids to run around, and appreciated thoughtful touches like blackout shades, toys, step stools, kids’ dishes, and more. They truly thought of everything for families.The property management team was responsive and helpful. We had a small hiccup with the door code at check-in, but they fixed it quickly and were great to work with.We had a blast here and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Reviewer Comments: During our stay, we found The Bird House to be spotless, new, modern, spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and furniture and nice decor. We stayed for a long ski weekend with our three young kids and had plenty of space for them to play and more than enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. We had no issues getting in and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The internet connection was a little bit slow on our mobile devices, but we had no issues streaming shows and movies on the TVs in the house. It was not a problem for us at all. The house is also very close to Nubs Nob and some good local restaurants. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a lovely stay.
