Hi, Iâm a first-generation American with deep Jamaican roots. Both of my parents were born and raised in Jamaica â they knew each other growing up on the island but didnât reconnect until years later in New York, where their love story truly began.
My brother Jason and I spent many of our adolescent summers in Jamaica, moving between Kingston, St. Annâs, Trelawny, and Negril. We have family all over the island, and every time we return, it feels like a reset â the air, the water, the sun, and the local food reconnect us to something deeper.
We donât see Jamaica as a vacation. For us, itâs a homecoming. Itâs our birthright. And Hallelujah House is our way of sharing that homecoming with you.
