The cozy coach house is a literal gem! The original art and retro styled furnishings are creatively appointed and make for an extra special stay. My teen daughter and I especially enjoyed projecting our Netflix on the big screen. The hosts are super sweet too!
Our stay was fantastic . Close to everything easy drive from Ohio. The coach house was extremely clean , welcoming, and cozy . We will definitely stay at the cozy coach house again if available
I took my daughter to Chicago to experience the city, but I have to say, the Cozy Coach House would be worth the visit. It is better appointed than any hotel, has a beautiful design, was incredibly clean, cozy and inviting, and is capable of being a destination of its own. It is close to the train station, groceries and other necessary places, but the quiet backyard offers country-like serenity just off a major road. Liz and Bill are gracious and caring hosts, and we will be back!
It was a cool place to stay. Had far more amenities than we needed nor used like about a half dozen "clickers" for TV Music etc. Well equipped. Could have just lived there be we were visiting relatives, so we ate most of our meals away. But had a well-equipped kitchen.
The place was perfect for what I was looking for. Great location comfortable relaxing. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking out to a beautiful yard. The bed was very comfortable. I will be staying here again when I come back to Chicago
Property was very clean, decor was very inviting. Owners are very friendly. Slept very sound and was able to get a good nights sleep. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.
Our family was in town to visit Midieval Times & the cozy cottage was comfortable, clean, & convenient. Liz was a wonderful host and attentive to our needs. We will definitely stay again when attending events in or near Chicago!
Such a fun place! Everything was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We had a great time watching movies on the projector. Liz was a very responsive and attentive host
A perfect place to start our American holiday, Cosy Coach House was peaceful and comfortable whilst being within easy walking distance of Wheaton centre. Liz and Bill were welcoming hosts and have created a holiday house full of character and interest in their garden.
Our family of four enjoyed our one night stay last week. Liz was great to communicate with! Both Liz and Bill made our family feel at home right away. We hope to stay again for a longer visit! It's a must stay!
The home is well equipped, clean, and comfortable for 1-4 people. The hosts were very welcoming and gracious. We walked over to town and the college campus. Thank you for a great stay!
The hosts were extremely nice and everything was wonderful! The place was nice and the grounds were
Our experience was just lovely. Liz had communication with our stay there from the very start to our leaving. It was a perfect time for me and the family and we spent a lot of time in the yard which was beautiful!
My husband Bill and I raised our family of four children in Wheaton. It is an excellent community to live and raise a family. We hope you will enjoy your visit very much.
Our coach house predates our home and was built by the Guglers in the early part of the 20th century. Mr Gugler was a lithographer and the coach house was his studio. Horses were kept below, and Pershing street to the south was a dirt cow path named after farmer Pershing, not the general. The fireplace is built from his old lithography stones , which was an early printing method for the 1800's. From 1995 until 2010 the coach house served as my art studio where I created custom floor cloths.
Our coach house is situated on an acre of land in the center of Wheaton Illinois which is the county seat of Dupage county. Downtown Wheaton is a quaint and charming city with an abundance of dining options and boutique shopping
